I never would have believed this would be so easy and fast and no driver issues. Getting the internal out of my fried laptop was tough. Screws are threadlocked and won't turn with 5 different mini screwdrivers. Had to drill them. Once I had it in my hand, was less than 5 minutes to put in case and test. Well built and durable case black anodized aluminum. Awesome!

Sturdy enclosure and it looks good. It's 1 piece of aluminum on top, bottom, and both long sides. The tray slides out and the drive mounts seem solid. I used thread lock screws out of an old laptop instead of the provided non locking screws. It's slightly finicky to get the end cap to clip into place after reassembly, but I don't plan on using multiple drives. If you're just using this to fix drives or recover data, you don't need to reassemble it...just use the inner tray as an interface adapter. The chipset seems stable and fast. The drive spins down while not in use, which is good. Spend the extra few dollars on this enclosure instead of the cheaper ones.

I was looking for a small case for a mini keyboard and various adapters (OTG, etc) for a tablet. Fits like it was made for it. I didn't give it 5 stars because I'm not sure about how sturdy it is. Definitely worth the money.

Unlike some other HD enclosures I have used in the past that felt a bit cheap in the design or construction; this one feel pretty sturdy and goes together easily.I ordered two, one worked great at USB3 speeds with an old SSD drive I had. The other one, even with the same conditions like drive/cable/pc, only tested up to USB2 levels. I notified the seller and they sent me a new one right away, and it tests fine.Thanks

I needed a hard drive closure that is decently priced. This item works well and the build quality is not bad at all.

A Very Nice Enclosure and Cable. Feels solid. I like that the drive is held to the drive tray with screws. And that the USB connector is Male A.Works fast with a SSD in Win10, Win7. Even XP.A had a very small amount of internal rattle. Nothing major. But putting a small strip of Blue Painters Tape on the edges of the drive tray eliminated it completely.

It was not what it was in the pictures and I couldn’t refund cause it would take like 3 weeks to get my money back or maybe I wouldn’t even get my money back cause it dint look like in the pics
