It works!
This product works as advertised. I have used it four times now and it has prevented my cat from peeing and pooping in his carrier on car rides. He does it because of stress. I use it according to the directions and have been happy with the results. I have tried several products and this is the only one that consistently has done the trick. I would recommend it. It’s worth the price in my book. Cleaning the cat and the carrier after every car ride is a lot of work. I will happily pay the price of this product.

This product makes it easy to travel with our beloved furry friends.
We have used Feliway spray when traveling by car for 3 cats on a 2,000 mile trip and back again. If it is sprayed liberally (more than the directions state) in the carrier and on the bedding and given time to dry, even the most vocal of cats will be relaxed and calm. The first time we used it, one of our cats took about 40 minutes to calm down as he "talks" the most, but the other 2 cats didn't make a sound from the very beginning. However, I found if I spray a little extra in his carrier and wait about 20 minutes and give it another light spray, allow to dry and put him in, he too becomes calm and quiet. All 3 cats remained calm and quiet for 10-12 hours at a time in the car. When traveling, we feed them wet food early in the evening on arrival to the hotel. When they've finished the wet food, we leave only dry food and water through the night. We take the dry food and water up in the morning and spray the carriers at that time so they have time to dry. We give the cats a final chance to use the liter box if needed, while we have breakfast. When we return from breakfast, we put them in the carrier (which has already been sprayed with Feliway and allowed to dry) and load them in the car. They do not eat or use the liter box while traveling in the car and remain in their carriers the entire time. They have no issues and as mentioned, remain calm and quiet for 10 or more hours while we are driving. I do use the Feliway diffuser when in hotel rooms. And because it takes a while for the diffuser to work, the cats are not as calm in strange hotel rooms. Without the spray product, travel with our beloved furry friends would be much more difficult, if not impossible.

WORKS WONDERS!
I am currently integrating (2) 7 months old kittens with (2) 18 months old cats. Today was the first day where I didn’t have the spray so there was a lot of tension and aggression. The minute I sprayed this all throughout my house, everyone became calm and the aggression eased up. The only thing that I dislike about this is that you have to spray it every few hours which results in it finishing faster. For the price, I think they should make a bigger bottle.

USED
I only need to use this is when I take my furbabies to get their shots. It does well at keeping them relaxed on such a nervous day. Unfortunately I should have opened it when i received it. My fault for not checking that It's a USED bottle. !

This skeptic is convinced
I was sure it wouldn't work. SO sure that I went ahead and purchased some plastic pin-on furniture protectors to cover the ends of my new sofa. Every morning when I sit to drink my coffee my demon...I mean, my CAT...comes and claws the sofa. My brand new sofa. I had a sofa cover on it, but took it off to wash and then thought 'why am I covering my beautiful sofa with an ugly cover?' But having already had one sofa destroyed by Mr. Murder Mittens, I wasn't about to let him have free reign with this one. Day 1: Spritz the spray along the bottom and ends where he scratches. Pleasantly surprised at the light, slightly floral, scent that dissipates quickly. Cat walks over, stares at sofa, then goes over to furiously scratch his scratching pad. Day 2: Spritz. Cat comes and stares. Stalks away to his scratching pad. Day 3: Spritz. Cat comes over. Finds that I have not spritzed along the top of the sofa and tries scratching there. Is lovingly dissuaded. I spritz that part as well. Success. Days 4-whatever: Cat continues to not scratch sofa. I revel in my ability to enjoy actually SEEING the upholstery that we picked out, instead of a slipcover. I put the plastic end covers in a closet, we do noit need them. Week...3? 4?: This continues to work. I have found that after time I don't need to spritz every day, the habit to scratch the sofa is not as ingrained, or the scent still lingers a day or two...I'm not sure which. But I find that I can skip a day or two. I DO have to spray every part that I don't want scratched, if he finds an unsprayed spot he will glare at me and then start clawing. I would say that I've been using this for about a month and the bottle still has a bit left in it. Is it a bit pricey for about a month's worth of use? Maybe...until you consider the value of an intact couch and the increase in love you will have for your cat when he isn't destroying your furniture. I hope this never, ever stops working because it has allowed me to co-exist with our cat on much better terms.

This brand is GREAT for "problem cats"!
I just bought this in a spray, because I'll be driving my cats across the country in my van, from California to Ohio- and my cats aren't used to traveling. Who knows what they will do- but the plug-in version worked so well, I had to have something for the van. I have a boy cat who used to be bullied mercilessly by another of my cats years ago, and as a result, he got into the nervous habit of "spraying", or "marking" certain areas, I guess due to stress. He's fixed, but that doesn't help. He hasn't done it much since the other kitty died, but cats hate chaos and messiness, and right now I'm in the middle of moving, so I was worried. I've been using the plug-in for a month. It makes all 3 kitties so calm & relaxed when they are in the boxed chaos that used to be our living room! No spraying on anything the entire month! I will want to have one in every room they are allowed in after I move! I wish they made a USB or lighter-socket version for vehicles! The scent is something only felines can smell (unlike the pee Will Feral used to spray... that's him in the white box next to the plug-in- he was sleeping peacefully but as I took the pic, he was getting up for a pet! I wish I'd have known about this stuff years ago! I see they have calming treats too, so that will be my next order. My daughter says they work!

WAY OVERPRICED - get calming treats/collar, works even better
RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. I used it as directed - sprayed it on my travel carrier in the corners floor ceiling inside, etc., and doing so used almost half the bottle. There was only 5-10 sprays left after using it as directed for a round-trip flight. I compared using just this to using just a calming collar and to using just calming treats and then a combination of the three and found calming treats and/or calming collar - which are both about a 10th of the price as the spray - work just as well. Guys do not fall for this ridiculously overpriced water - get a calming collar which lasts 30 days, and get calming treats which your cat enjoys like those awesome lick treats. Calming collars come is packs of 4-6 for like $13, and calming treats come in packs of 30 for $12. You get WAY more and they all go WAY farther than this stuff. I will not be buying this again until they lower the price and will recommend the above to everyone and anyone until these guys get their greedy heads out of their butts. This is a 450% markup on what is 90% rubbing alcohol water - which says so on the bottle of ingredients. Travel carrying case and bottle pictured for reference - got the larger bottle and it’s a standard sized travel carrier.

Feliway
I am totally unsure if the product used ALONE would have earned a five star rating, but because I have given my cat a GABAPENTIN as well along with the Feliway Classic, therefore I am unable to rate the product precisely. We took a fourteen hour flight with almost eight hours of overlay with two flights and the two product worked wonders. My cat was quietly stayed in his comfortable carrier under the front seat. There wasn’t even a faint cry at all. So, would it be fair to give five-star rating solely for Feliway????
