This film is even heavy on concert performances for us big time fans who love seeing Celine do what she does best.The DVD has no extras - none are necessary, especially since the home video release of the film is roughly an hour longer than the theatrically released version. It's presented in 16:9 anamorphic widescreen and the picture is flawless, as expected for a recent production shot in high definition. The audio is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 and 5.1 and does the job splendidly. My only miff, despite not having a Blu-Ray player, is that this has a Blu-Ray disc while the concert does not. Why is that? Did Sony not think folks would want the full concert in hi-def too?"Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World" is worth every cent if you're a Celine fan. Pristine picture and sound, which definitely becomes important during the concert performances, and plenty of reminders of why us die-hard Celine fans love her. Yes, the chart stats, sales numbers, awards, ticket sales, etc. are impressive, but the film shows Celine's personality, work ethic, and fantastic talent - the real reason that she remains a beloved entertainer three decades after her first single in Quebec. Brava, Mme. Dion.

If I'm in the mood for something I can keep on in the background and just zone out and relax, this is one of the DVDs I reach for. I originally rented it from Netflix and immediately rented it again after I sent it back. By the third time, I knew I had to have my own copy.I love seeing the glimpses into Celine's world. Seeing what makes her tick and what keeps her going. I love getting to know who she is and why she does what she does in this rare look into her life.A must see.If you're looking for concert footage and songs, you won't find may here. The disc opens up with I Drove All Night as sung in multiple cities during her Taking Chances tour. During the movie, you'll see other songs she performs in different countries, but this disc is more of a biography of what she went through with her family during her wildly successful world tour.

I live in Durban South Africa and remember when Celine came to open her Taking Changes Tour", bought the ticket and watched the show, she blew me away.This woman is probably the most amazing female vocalist walking the planet today. Not only that she wears her heart on her sleeve, so loving, so expressive, so funny, full of life and love. You will see that in this documentary without a doubt, her love for her family, her son, her fans is so clear. Not to be biased but the opening section her in "South Africa" is the best and most touching of them all, I was so proud to watch this, SA is finally getting worldwide recognition with the successful Soccer World Cup 2010 and celebrites like Celine gracing our country. This DVD is amazing and the performance sections will blow you away, I also bought the concert too which was wonderful of course but stll the documentary I enjoyed so much more. because I got to trully know Celine and fell inlove with her not the artist but the person.

Boston fans will be disappointed! No behind the scenes from there(first city she made a concert back in America). I was there and would like to see some footage included!)I also didnt like the songs they included in the middle of the movie (not that I dont like to see Celine singing)its just that I wanted to see as much behind the scenes as possible. The concert Dvd is included in this box set, so I didnt think it was necessary to repeat that on "Through the eyes of the world" In addition, the pics are TINY, except a FEW that have a good size. You need a magnifying glass to see them! I kid you not!! (very disappointing...)for such expensive item, I was expecting great pictures, I hope that one day they publish a book with descent size photographs!! Otherwise, Celine is just a delight to watch and it was wonderful to see how much hard work she put into it and the tremendous amount of love and respect she has for her fans! I'm a huge fan, and after watching this dvd I love her even more... :)

I have encountered very few people in the world who are as compassionate, passionate, giving, genuine, selfless, and loving as Celine. And she's funny too! She is beautiful inside and out and anyone who knows her or is able to meet her is blessed, I am sure. I saw this in the theatre with my Mother who has as big a heart as Celine and is also funny and beautiful. We both thouroughly enjoyed seeing Celine on film on a more personal level than just seeing her onstage. After we watched it at the theatre I kept saying that I hoped it would come out on DVD, and here it is! I got one for myself and one for Mother for Christmas!

If you love Celine Dion this is a must have for your collection. Very satisfied with purchase.

Stunning..........in a word. I am a Celine Dion fan, but was worried that this might be a documentary style blu ray only. How wrong I was! When you start watching, it appears that way, but once you are well into the various concerts around the world, there are loads of songs performed live in their entirety! Nearly three hours long. All the great songs are here and the camera work/production is top notch. If you have a surround system, make sure you switch the sound to 5.1 as it`s set to only 2.1 by default, for some odd reason. To sum, I don`t think I`ve ever spent £10 odd more wisely!!!

Celine Dion has for many years entertained me with her superb singing and her humble approach to her well deserved status as one of the worlds best entertainers. So seeing her behind the gloss and glitter of her stage performances was spellbinding, it only endorsed my belief that not only is she a fantastic singer, but also a lady who truly cares about her fans and about the poverty and sickness in the under developed world around her. If the world of entertainment wanted to project an Ambassador of goodwill and caring they need look no further than this remarkable lady.. I wish her and her family a long happy life and the ability to remain the "Singing Angel" that she is. I am 72 years of age and I have never been so moved by any other performer. Michael Palmer

DVD is OK but the fact that a lot of the "family" conversations are in French spoilt it for me as I do not speak French. It also jumped from country to country of her World tour. Actual contents of songs was poor. It was more family on tour than songs by Celine.

This DVD is amazing it really gets behind the scenes and shows you what a wonderful down to earth lady Celine is. I am over the moon with it. The songs are amazing, what a singer ,thank you.

Fast safe delivery, great DVD, Celine what else do you need, great voice great songs, would recommend this DVD to anyone that loves Celine's music and voice.
