A Winner
K&F do make some decent gear for the money I've found and this UV lens filter is no different. Honestly this is supremely well made with a high quality finish and a perception of a properly expensive bit of kit. Now, I do appreciate that the jury is out on whether a UV filter is or is not needed and on that subject I have no real feelings. What I do like though is that using a UV filter prevents damage - within reason - to my actual lens. Okay, I get the fact that if I drop my camera off the back of a truck it's not going to survive, but having that lens filter does stop minor scratches and abrasive dust. It also keeps my fingers away from the lens and being flat easy to clean thoroughly with a cloth. Overall a no brainer for me. I always put a UV filter on my lenses immediately upon purchase simply to add a bit of protection and K&F do some great ones for entirely reasonable money.

Great protective lens and a good price
I’m a photographer and work a lot outdoors. I’m always looking for ways to protect my gear especially lenses. I’ve been purchasing K&F products for a while now and they have never let me down. Actually they even saved one of my lenses when my camera fell onto the concrete floor. The lens protector cracked but the actual expensive lens was in mint condition! This is a great lens protector and is very budget friendly! Great value for money

Good value UV filter
I know a lot of people don’t use UV filters, but I like to have them for protection. I’m often at the beach and it keeps the front of the lens protected from sea spray and sand. This UV filter is one of the best I’ve used. It doesn’t affect picture quality at all, and the ridged parts make it easy to grip the filter to remove or attach it. It feels good quality and is barely noticeable on the front of the lens. It comes in a padded plastic box so it’s useful if you need to store it for future use. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the filter came with three individually sealed microfibre cloths which are always handy. They’re good quality and do a great job of cleaning the lens without leaving smears. The only downside for me is there’s no thread on the outer part of the filter, so you can’t attach another filter on top. This isn’t a major issue, I’ll just need to remove the filter before attaching another one.

great quality
As a photographer of over 40 years experience ive bought many hundreds of uv filters over the years and usually only consider B+W and HOYA FUSION ones now days but my daughter needed a filter for a kit lens of hers so I took the risk of a cheaper alternative . This brand arrived nicely packed , clean and ready to install without any messing about with a lens cloth , the quality is amazing and I wouldn't hesitate in buying one again even at three times the price ! fantastic filters for all those lenses you want protecting but don't want to spend the earth . My honest opinion is yes the frame is flimsier and lighter than HOYA and B+W but its perfectly fine and the glass and coatings are every bit as good as the top brands and hence these filters are a utterly super buy at any level .

UV Filter, does the job.
I didn't want to pay a lot for a UV Filter but still wanted to have one in my camera bag for landscape photos...read other reviews, came across this make. Can't complain about quality, it does the job, no problem on reducing image quality and easy to put on and off my lens. Great value

Perfect protection and enhanced utility
My Olympus 60mm Macro lens now has this great filter attached. The lens comes with no hood, a poor front cap and obviously no filter. This one is now aboard together with a decent front cap and a third party lens hood. 46mm is a bit small and fiddly, but this has a really good knurled ring that is easy to grip. The thread is also very smooth and positive. The colour balance is undetectably different, so does not interfere when picture taking in well lit close up situations. I love the enhancement of this brilliant lens. Ricky.

Excellent filters and very good prices
There are some very poor cheap filters, but not these these excellent K&F filters, at exceptional prices. The multicoating seems to be as good as many a more expensive filters, and the glass quality is very good, German optical glass. There is often some debate on whether to use protective filters on lenses, but I reckon they are good insurance from accidental damage or splashes, and easily removed if not wanted while shooting...like an optically clear lens cap. Happy to recommend these K&F filters, I've got several...

Great filter - but not for every lens
The filter offered has excellent coating and good light transmission. It is well packaged dust free and the cleaning microfiber cloth is a nice touch. However, it is not for every lens out there. While I do like the knurled ring for a better tactile feel, it makes it impossible for certain lenses like my sigma 45mm 2.8 lens, to have the hood fitted in. The knurling protrudes beyond the diameter of the filter getting in the way of the hood. I hope K&F will offer options when it comes to their filter ring design to circumvent this problem.
