These are absolutely great in many ways! Awesome for kids!!
These are absolutely great in many ways! I actually got these to mark baby chickens instead of using leg bands that have to be checked and replaced often. For that purpose, they work very well on light colored chickens, and not so well on dark chickens (the colors don't show up on dark plumage). Still totally worth it for the light chickens though! And I'm experimenting marking lighter areas on the dark chickens, where the colors show up better.Chickens aside, my two toddlers LOVE these things!! The colors are all vivid, vibrant, and beautiful and my kids have made some lovely polka-dot art with them! (I'll admit that I had some fun drawing with these too.) The thick bottles are easy for my little ones to grasp and manipulate. Another great thing about these is that they don't spill, even if the kids shake them with the caps off, and you have to deliberately press the tips down onto something (e.g. paper) to mark it, so there's less marking of unwanted objects.Since we got these, my kids have been asking for them nearly every day and they have had a wonderful time dotting and drawing, and making their beautiful artworks! It keeps them occupied for a good amount of time while they develop their skills for the future. My 2yr old loves naming the colors and gets a kick out of switching the caps. She thinks it's funny when the cap colors don't match the bottles, I guess. lol They both had fun marking chickens too, which was fun.I recommend these for marking light-colored chicks and strongly recommend them for kids to play with and make art! I would imagine that they make good bingo markers too....
