I bought this product to have it shipped to Thailand, after moving from the US. For whatever reason, the 220V UK version is way pricier than the US counterpart. It is however a solid kettle that is elegant and simple to use. If you are looking at this kettle, you are probably willing to pay for it anyway. Know that you will get a great product.

Who in the name of God thought it was acceptable to sell a £175 kettle with a non British plug on it? Unpacked, thrown back in box and returned. I have now read the reviews on here and I am glad I didn't even try and use it. Save your money buy something else.

Absolutely amazing and stunning product. Fits in perfectly with our contemporary decor and allows you to select perfect temp. Deviation on temperature tends to be about +5 degrees max. Saves electricity when you don’t need to completely boil. Highly recommend the product - rated at 240V so just need an adapter for the non-UK plug. No transformer required. Love oursUPDATE: After 3 years of ownership the kettle no longer functions well. Often clicks on and off and needs resetting. Taking a start off as a result but still a brilliant product for the first few years.

Don’t buy this kettle as it stopped working less than 5 weeks after buying it. Such a cheap and defective product for such an expensive price.

This kettle is oh so elegant and gorgeous. I wanted to love it. But the on/off dial was inconsistent at best. I would press and press and sometimes it would start and some times it would not. And sometimes it would not turn off automatically after boiling. Sad for me to return it because it was beautiful but a kettle has to boil with one touch.....

Temp sensor went bananas, no hope of a replacement

Stopped working after 18 months, switching on but not heating water. Out of warranty (only 12months) and contacted Fellow and they would not help. £150 for 18 months use.
