Funny, smart, sweet - this has it all!
Absolutely fabulous! I cannot get over the Bailey clan - they are overbearing and wonderful. What a set of siblings! Ha! I loved Brooklyn's character and the first meeting of her and Wyatt was hilarious. This was a wild ride and I loved every page. Both characters showed incredible growth throughout the book which made their bond even stronger. A few bumps here or there were expected and I was certainly mad at Wyatt there for a bit when I thought he was making a HUGE mistake. Luckily Grandma Bailey had my back and gave a pretty good talking to. These two were super cute once they got out of their own way. I can't wait for the rest of this family's stories!

POV ~ dual 1stFeaturing ~ workplace romance, opposites attract, slow burn, friends to lovers, neighbors to lovers, some steamageBrooklyn & WyattBrooklyn has been left at the altar and she's mad. So mad she's throwing his things out of their apartment. When she accidentally clocks new neighbor, Wyatt, in the head with a book they become friends. He's also the new manager at the hotel she works at, but is he really the manager or is he hiding a big secret that could jeopardize everything.Wyatt has a reason for keeping a secret. Is it a good idea? Probably not. Is his father a douche? Yes, yes he is. Can we still think Wyatt is sweet? Sure can. These two were sweet and cute together. I liked how it was a bit of a slow burn since she had just been left at the altar, so best not to rush into anything. The build up to lovers was a good one. Good banter and good chemistry make for a good addition to the series.Series notes:All Bailey's are heavily involved in each book, so you might as well start at the beginning.Narration notes:They both did a fabulous job. I do wish there were different narrators for each book in the series, since I was used to these voices for the last book. It seems like they'll narrate the whole series so I'd better get used to it.

Loved it!
Love is weird. When one door closes for Brooklyn, another immediately opens. He fiancé called off their wedding the morning of, via text. So rude. Enter Wyatt. He is everything Brooklyn didn’t see coming, and she is everything he had never imagined. Must read!

New neighbor to new love
Brooklyn Bailey is about to get married when she receives a TEXT from her soon to be husband that he can't go through with the wedding! All her family rallies around her and taker her back to her apartment that she was to live with her new husband. Brooklyn starts throwing out Jeff's stuff and tosses a book into the hall and it hits Wyatt and cuts his forehead. Brooklyn checks on him to make sure he's ok. She then decides to go on her honeymoon alone but finds out that her ex cashed in her ticket so she can't go. She decides not to tell her family and just holes up in her apartment. Wyatt sees her and decides to take care of her. He encourages her to expand her essential oils and helps her with the business part of it. Brooklyn knows that he's the manager of the hotel she works at but not that he's really the owner's son. What will she do when she finds out? Will Wyatt figure out how to keep Brooklyn before it's too late? Will her family let him live? Piper Rayne never disappoints with any of the books and this one is no exception. There's so much story here and I enjoyed it all. We get a sneak peak at the next book and it looks really good. I read an advanced copy but have the book now.

A captivating, laugh-out-loud romance
Piper Rayne is back with another captivating laugh out loud romance, that literally had me grinning and swooning with every single chapter. Advice From A Jilted Bride picks up the story of the Bailey family with the middle child Brooklyn Bailey, who was on her way to saying 'I do' when who she thought was the love of her life ends things minutes before the procession. Heart broken and angry at the opposite sex, Brooklyn begins the journey of starting over when she meets her new neighbor, Wyatt, a smoldering business man with secrets that no one can know about.I absolutely adore this series and this installment just furthers my belief that the writing duo are one of the Goddesses on Romance Olympus. Simple as that. From the very beginning of the novel, we are instantly pulled into the aftermath of Brooklyn not so quite wedding and her absorbing the news that she wont be a wife after all. Kind with a flare for the art of sass, I connected with Brooklyn on so many levels to the point where I wanted to protect her at all costs. Brooklyn never wavered in what she wanted and stood her ground for her beliefs and the love she has for the people who live in Lake Starlight.Just like in the first novel, I love the bond and the firm relationship she has with her family as I got to see how each of them played their role in her life and how solid they were to support and protect her no matter what her decision or actions were. Trust was a huge theme throughout this novel and I felt like the Bailey family is a great depiction of what a healthy solid family looks like when each of them trusts the other. From the get-go, the chemistry between Wyatt and Brooklyn was off the chart and I was shipping the crap out of them from the moment he set foot into her apartment to check on her. Cool, crisp, educated, and sarcastic Wyatt is someone that you have to try really hard not to fall in love with. I loved the backstory we were given of Wyatt as he makes his new temporary home in Lake Starlight and watching his character develop and new layers begin to unfold with each scene and chapter was truly enchanting.Advice From A Jilted Bride is a captivating, laugh-out-loud romance that tells the story of finding yourself and second loves. I highly recommend this novel to anyone who loves a good romance comedy with a flare for the steamy side.
