Cool sensei adds even more character depth to his storyline. Even though most of the cast are fantasy-type characters, they're surprisingly easy to relate to.

Lots of action, I never thought how much kobayashi household family cares so much for each other. Ms.Kobayashi really knows how to kick some ass.

I enjoyed volume 8 immensely. A wonderful follow-up of volume 7. Followers of the Kobayashi household should enjoy this.

Been a fan of the series so far and this volume hasn't changed that.

This was a lot of dragons fighting and Kobayashi actually low key saving the day so I'm going to give him that one. It was less terrible than it could have been considering who writes this series.Kanna is going to grow up to be a dragon version of Kobayashi, I'm calling it. Huge lesbian energy who can get things done in ways that no one sees coming. Like mother like daughter.What upset me was the implication that Kobayashi was ever going to let Kanna stay with her father, after everything that he did and didn't do? That part just seemed so off to me, and uncharacteristically bad with how we got to where we were in that situation.As this was the last manga that's currently out though, I have to say that's a satisfying end to the main series. I understand that there are a few side manga that I should read, and I may, but later!This was a lot of fighting and a few family feels, which is in general very on brand for the series. I'm sure that, wherever the series goes after this will be mostly fluff and I'll be good with the dragon fluff as long as he isn't a coward and let's Kobayashi admit that she's a married lesbian with 2 daughters...but you know...next time...
