I have only had these for a short time, but so far would give these five stars. My husband and I just moved into a new house with a large walk-in closet. We set up all our clothes and shoes and then realized that even though our shoes were mostly clean and in good condition, the closet still had a faint stinky feet smell especially near our shoe storage. I bought these bags, put one on alternating shelves, and the smell was gone within a couple hours. I heard that you're supposed to "recharge" these monthly or so by setting them out in the sun for a while. I haven't had to do that yet, but I'm hoping this is a good long-term solution. Assuming it works, I'm planning to buy more to also use where my dogs' crates are and a few other areas.

We live in an apartment where we moved in behind a hoarder. In spite of the fact the Apts put down new flooring and painted it still smells like the hoarder. In cabinets and closets it’s REALLY bad. I’ve burned incense, wax melts, diffused essential oils, plug ins, etc and unless something STRONG is plugged in our Apartment smells awful! I bought these charcoal bags for cabinets and closets. I put the largest one in the walk n closet (it’s a small walk in closet. About 10 foot deep and maybe 3 foot wide. These are working and now when I open a cabinet door or a closet door I don’t gag from the hoarder smell! I have no clue how long they will work. I’ve only had them a few days. I hope they last at least a few months. Time will tell.

This product has helped with musty smells in my house. It does not completely gets rid of the musty smell but it helps. My car sometimes smells too. We live in the south so during the summer it gets a bit stinky. I put two bags in my car and it has helped too. Keep in mind that regular cleaning to the house and car is a must. The charcoal bags aren't a housekeeper... Unfortunately. 😭🤣😁

Another purchase that does ot work as expected. It neither has an odor or reduces odors.

I have a dog and a cat and as much as we clean, you’d think there’s be no smell, but there is. I’m someone who likes it to smell clean (not chemically or perfumey) so when I read about these I knew I had to get them. They work SO WELL!! I got 2 sets. I have them in our closets (shoe smell), around our house for pet smell and even in our bathrooms. My husband thought I was crazy and 2 days later he said “ you know what? They work.” So, win!!

I read through so many reviews trying to see if these helped with cigarette smoke smell. I only saw a couple, but decided it was worth a try. Yes, they help! We bought a house that slightly smelled of cigarette smoke, and after painting with killz and paint, and installing new carpet, the smell was gone for a couple months. Then we noticed every time we came home it smelled stronger than the last time. I was obviously upset because I don't want all our belongings to smell like cigarette smoke, and I have 2 young kids, and have asthma. After trying different sprays, airing out the house every day, cleaning as much as possible. Finally we got these and I kid you not, it does not smell like smoke anymore, ever! 10/10 would recommend.

I can't believe how well these little bags are working! I put one in the bathroom after having the tile reglazed - awful smell the day after. And the smell disappeared like magic! seriously! it just smells like air lol I also put one in the linen closet that also opens to the unfinished attic. It always smelled like old dust, old wood and just old in general. i put one in there and overnight it doesn't smell like that at all anymore! it smells like nothing! Don't doubt these little bags - just buy them! i'll never use another smelly air freshener again! and the package comes with enough of them to put them all over - i also put one in the laundry room where the dogs hang out - no more dog smell!

I had really high hopes for these little bags. I have a very musty smelling small room next to our garage. I bought these bags and have the four largest ones in that room and have not noticed a difference at all. It still smells musty and the bags have been there for a couple of months. I really do wish I could find something that will take away that smell. "Sigh"
