Direct replacement, identical to factory original, high quality.
Fits my Sonoma SGR30LP gas grill (Costco). 100% as factory original, direct replacement & high quality. Great price.I include installation instructions below (for Sonoma SS gas grill)If you are replacing this part, you will or should need to replace the two main burner Ceramic Electrodes (No fuss direct replacement, Link A below). It is also a very good idea to get a pack of stainless steel screws (Link B below) and I will also link a great Spark Generator (Link C), as my original needed replacing and (original) has been disconnected for quite some time.Link A: Ceramic Electrodes (direct replacement, no fuss): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002FBEWVK/ref=od_aui_detailpages01?ie=UTF8&psc=1Link B: Stainless Steel sheet metal screws (direct replacement, high quality, great buy): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NHVOW8/ref=od_aui_detailpages01?ie=UTF8&psc=1Link C: Replacement Spark Generator (*Please NOTE; This is not like the Sonoma original which is discontinued but is a MUCH better part and fits perfectly in the mounting hole of the original SG. It may need an extra small step (one wire may be just too short, simple fix)Important note: The original Sonoma SG (Spark Generator) is a two (2) part system; The part you press & holds the AA battery (which is the part being replaced & has two white wires plugged into it) and a separate small black box mounted on the opposite wall, under side burner (This black box, has 6 wires plugged into it, 2 of which leads to the original SG,). You will no longer need this separate black box due to new replacement SG, as it is a self contained unit: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00U8PWCZS/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1Main Burner Replacement instructions:1) Open Grill lid.2) Remove the loss internals: Cooking Grids, heat plates, ETC... until you are left with just the main rusty burner.3) You will now need to remover Gas Grill face cover. This cover is the piece which the three (3) burner pipes seems to disappear into (under this cover is where the main burner meets the 3 gas valves). If look closely, you will see that this cover is held in place with about 14 Hex Head Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Screws. 7 on top, 2 on each side (4), 3 across bottom. They are pretty easy to get at. Unscrew these.4) Once screws are removed the cover will simply lift out, as the 3 burner openings on this cover are open end slots, not holes. The old main rusty burner will now have enough room to lift out but be careful to gently unplug Ceramic Electrode wires.5) Install NEW main burner over gas valves, push on tightly. (Here is a good time to replace Ceramic Electrodes and test new Spark Generator, if needed)6) Reinstall cover and internals and your done.To install NEW Spark Generator:1) Unscrew black cap on original Spark Generator (it has the battery under cap).2) Unscrew the plastic mounting nut and push out SG (Spark Gen)3) There will be two wires plugged into old SG, leading to a black box. Unplug these 2 wires from the black box, your old SG is now free, you can discard it, as well as the two wires.4) The wires which are still plugged into the black box lead directly to the 4 Ceramic Electrodes (2 main burner, 1 infrared top warmer, 1 side burner).Unplug these 4 wires and plug them directly into your new replacement Spark Generator (which is still hanging free at this point, ready to install)5) Your replacement SG most likely has the black plastic mounting nut screwed on under battery cap. Unscrew battery cap, unscrew plastic mounting screw, place replacement SG through grill mounting hole, screw on mounting nut, install battery, screw-on cap and you are done.NOTE: One wire was too short on my grill, if this happens with yours simply use one of the discarded wires from the old SG, splice it into the wire which was too short and your set.Hope this helps.

This item was a replacement for a COSTCO grill. ...
This item was a replacement for a COSTCO grill. The item fit but the bar that holds the electrode is about a quarter inch farther back than the original unit so when I added the new electrode they would spark but were to far away from the burner rod to light the gas, I have to light by hand. I can not see this unit lighting any other grill for the exact same reason.

Cross burner doesn't burn. Useless and fairly dangerous
How hard can it really be to make this product? It's just some pipe with some holes in it. In summary no gas comes out of the cross burner which makes this product both defective and pretty freaking dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. See the photo. The good:- It fits- The main burners do burn once you get them lit.The bad:- the cross burner which is used to actually light the grill with the ignitor doesn't have any gas coming out of it.So what you say? Well, without the cross burner the only way it will light is if there is enough gas hanging around in the grill that it eventually gets to the ignitor and there is enough oxygen to allow it to light. Only problem is by that time there may also be enough gas hanging around to blow up the grill (if you have the lid closed) or to make a nice sized combustion (if you have the lid open). The manufacturer is probably lucky that anyone who bothers to replace their own burners probably understands all of this and doesn't let it happen. If you're clueless tho you're in for a HUGE surprise the first time you actually get the grill to light. I hope your face isn't too close.Sure, you can just use a long lighter to manually light each burner I guess. But as a replacement product this thing is at best a piece of crap and at worst pretty damn dangerous.I contacted the seller on 7/22/16 and we'll see what happens.-- update 7/25/16: Seller is sending me a new one. Changing this to 2 stars while I wait to see if it works.-- update 12/27/16: The 2nd one didn't work either. Bought from a different seller and it worked perfectly.

Little modification needed to make it fit Frigidaire 3 burner ...
Little modification needed to make it fit Frigidaire 3 burner grille - just had to bend the ends a bit to match original....

Poor Quality Control
I bought this for my Coleman grill knowing I would need to bend the ends of each burner to make it work with my grill. I used a MAP gas torch and a 1/2" conduit bender to successfully put the bends in the tubes. Once this was done and I installed it I found problems.First, as others have stated, the crossbar that the ignitors mount on is too far away from the burner for reliable lighting, but I was prepared to modify the crossbar to make it work. The bigger problem was that once I installed and tested it, I found that the integrated carryover tube was not working between the left and middle burners. After looking closely, I saw that the hole in the left burner designed to supply the carryover tube with gas was completely misaligned and not even connected to the carryover tube (see pictures). I was not prepared to grind off the weld and make the modifications to fix this so I opted to return it.It seems that those who purchased this in 2015 did not have this problem, so I think it is a recent problem with the manufacturer's quality control. Hopefully I can find one that is not defective.
