Effective support, easy to put on
Our dog is 6 and has been battling an ankle sprain for several months. We purchased these for extra support and so far really pleased. She went almost 5 miles xc skiing with us today and the velcro never came loose in deep snow and getting soaking wet. She was sprinting down a hill and one slipped off, but I didn't put it on good enough. She didn't want to walk forward when we tried them on in the house, but putting them on at the trailhead, she didn't mind them at all. Quality of these remind me of the sport boots I have for my horse. The neoprene is thin, but the metal brace springs seems to off good, yet flexible support so they can move good in them. Plan to wear these on all our longer adventures to keep her active as long as we can.

Nice support wraps.
These are nice, well made. Easy to put on. It took me a little bit to figure out how to remove the spring supports. I suggest that the manufacturer modify the packaging a little bit to add a little storage pocket with secure flap for the supports once they've been removed so they don't get lost.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner?!?
My bull mastiff has bone cancer in her front leg. The bone is weakening and she is progressively limping more and starting to not move as much. This brace supports her leg and allows her to go out and play rough with her buddy Great Dane. She runs around the yard like she hasn't been willing to for quite a while. I use both Left and Right on her right leg. I had to buy a second set because she will run onto the step in the pool and get it soaked. She doesn’t mind wearing the brace and will stand patiently to get it put on. It is very easy and only takes a minute. My only issue is why didn’t I get this earlier in this journey.Update:My sweet lady was called to heaven in July after 2 years as a cancer survivor. She wore this brace religiously for 2 years as the cancer had ravaged her leg making it bowed and brittle. She never complained about it so I know it wasn’t uncomfortable. I cannot recommend this brace enough as it is the thing that kept her happy and walking. She went up and down hills, through the weeds, wherever she felt the need to go. Given that several vets could not recommend anything for her, I am so thankful we found this brace. If I could give it 6 stars out of 5 I would in a heartbeat!!

Great pastern support
I have a Shepherd/husky that has extremely weak pasterns and I frequently worry about him injuring himself because he LOVES to run. He can run for miles on end without tiring so we bike frequently. I love that these are firm but flexible enough for his legs to still flex on their own but firm enough that his pasterns dont almost touch the ground. He trots like a Tennessee Walker with them on so it's going to take some time to get him use to them. They didn't slide down in the 30 min that he wore them around the house. The only thing that bothers me is that it presses his pastern pad into his leg. I'll update later after we take them on a bike run.Edit to add 11 April 2025After several bike rides and some field runs I'm happy with how they work, now that I've figured out how they go on exactly. I think the first 2 times I put them on backwards, which may be why he was walking like a high-stepper. The fit is a little big, which I find surprizing since I think I ordered the M/L, I think I might have recieved the L/XL. I do have to be careful not to put them on too tight because of his pastern pad, it will cut off circulation and he starts to limp because it starts to go numb and tingly I assume. They do well for short distance rides. I'd say they're like walmart brand quality braces, ok but not fantastic.

Joint or Ligament Issues - Try this!
My rescue dog had surgery on her front joint below her hock because before we got her, she had broken or somehow injured her leg. It was never taken care of and her growth plates were damaged, she limped, and her ligament stretched (like a basset hound's would, where her wrist is almost touching the ground). When we first adopted her, we took her to UC Davis for an evaluation, which ended up costing us $1000 for a brace (molded specifically for my dog) on top of the PT visits. That brace was great, but only lasted a year and then broke. We wanted a new brace, but they redesigned it so that it wouldn't break after a year. The new design was crappola. It hurt my dog's leg, left it raw, on and on. But they washed their hands of us. We contacted UC Davis to see if we could find another brace-maker, but they too washed their hands of us with a departing email that "not all dogs can be helped."For the last 8 years my dog has had a neoprene brace that velcroes on, which does almost nothing. I was hesitant to buy another brace, but this one seems to do a good job. It's better than the neoprene-only brace for sure. It seems to provide more support, and there are two, so if one poops out, I have a spare :) I am pleased with this brace, and I would recommend to try it if your dog has ligament or joint issues in their front leg(s). I think the metal band inside the brace really does make a difference!

Used & dirty!
The product quality and construction isn't bad, and I might have been helpful for my dog but it arrived dirty and full of short white dog hairs! I thought I'd give it a try anyway because my dog is in a lot of pain and I was hoping it would help her but she refused to let me put it on because she kept sniffing it and could smell another dog on it. I understand that it may have not worked for someone and they retuned it but at least clean it before reselling it full price! It's unethical and unhygienic!
