They worked saved my HAIR !!!!!!!!!!!
So here was my problem …….I’ve had extensions and the girl that did them had an operation and she never came back to work so I had to figure out how to get my great lengths bonds out of my hair because nobody LOCAL was certified in great lengths !!! My Extensions were in for almost 5 1/2 - 6 months and they needed to come OUT my hair was matted badly & Couldn’t find anybody in the area that was certified to do great lengths. I took it upon myself to buy the tool and get the solution plus watched numerous you tube videos with my daughter and we got them out ourselves. My hair was not in a good situation to begin with but this tool DID IT. IT WORKED GREAT. Now trying to grow my hair back out, my hair is very thin and because the extensions were in so long when some of them came out it took a lot of my hair with them due to tangling and matted hair underneath. Good news is the extensions were removed and now I can heal my hair and head from that trauma and it was bad, I had been trying to get an appointment since three months to have the extensions removed but she was so booked up she put me on back burner And then I tried again and when I finally got an appointment she had emergency surgery so I was left hanging with no hair extension girl . Needless to say I won’t be getting extensions for a while and I probably won’t be going back there because I haven’t heard a word from her yet. I have had extensions for over 15+ years and this is new for me -( not having thick hair now ) I highly Recommend this tool for anybody especially experienced because I am not experienced at all and my daughter and I remove them with this tool. It saved the rest of my hair. Thank God :)

Works great
I had Great Lengths extensions in my hair for almost 6 months. I used these pliers paired with the gel to remove the extensions myself. It took several hours but these did the trick. The pliers did pull out some of my actual hair as well, but halfway through the process I figured out to apply the gel directly onto the pliers first before trying to break down the bond. This was very helpful and the extensions easily slid out without pulling out my natural hair and took a lot less time then trying to apply the gel directly onto the bond. I then would comb through with a brush to get the remaining residue from the bond out. With my previous extensions I had had to go to the salon to get them taken out and was charged for the removal. This was easier and less expensive.

Strong crunchers!
Works good at crunching K-Tip bonds, just be careful not to crunch natural hair

It's ok for your only tool
I liked the idea of this tool would make it easier for the stylist to remove my bonds easier so I ordered this tool at her request. It came in on time and looked just like the picture. She was currently using typical pliers. We thought we'd try this because it has ridges in the mouth end of the tool so it seemed it would grip and crush better. We tried it this weekend when we removed and reinstalled my fusion hair bonds. My stylist did not feel this was any better that her regular pliers upon trying them. My conclusion is if this is your first tool, t's a good buy and will do the job, but if you're purchasing to add to your tools to make it easier than your regular pliers, save your money, as it will not crush the bonds any better or faster. It is as described by the seller and it does work, but not any better than tools you may already have. Again a good first tool.
