Good enugh for the price
At the price I just had to try this little travel guitar. It certainly doesn't sound as good as a Martin or Ovation, but it is a servicable instrument that is small enough to tuck behind the seat in my pickup. The neck takes a little getting used to as it is narrower than what I'm used to. The neck really is about a ¾ sized neck. I may yet spring for one of the travel guitars with a standard sized classical neck, but for now the Apple Creek is "good enough" and didn't set me back too many bucks.

Applecreek Travel Guitar with steel strings and Gig Bag
Great travel size guitar. Easy to play while holding in my lap.I also set up with strap. Has good sound as to be expected for a small size guitar. Tunes easily and appears to stay tuned. Wood work is beautiful and does not have any imperfections in the finish or design of the guitar. Came with a truss rod but neck appears to be straight and the string action is good for an inexpensive acoustic guitar. Head stock is pretty and has enclosed tuners. The black gig bag is of good quality and made to fit the Applecreek travel size guitar like a glove. The gig bag has strap on the back for easy carrying over the shoulder. I rate the guitar, the gig bag, the price, the shipping by UPS and the vendor/seller...5 stars on this one.

Great travel guitar
Been looking for a backpacking guitar for a while and this one was the most appealing aesthetically. The curve at the bottom works well for rest on your leg.

Decent little Chinatar
I got one of these (elsewhere) and it is a pretty nice little git. It is full size (at least mine is, you may be able to get smaller ones, idk) made of wood and standard cheap style guitar neck and hardware (made in china, so it wont last forever.. you get what you pay for, tho.)It looks nice from a few feet, but when you get real close you can see defects. It plays nicer than you may expect, and feels nice to play, and turning it over and tapping the fingers produces some neat hand drum style sounds. You can easily get up to the 17th fret, and the high e has 20. Mine has no marks on the fretboard, just white dots on the top edge.It doesnt have much volume, due to its small size (2.5 inches thick, 8 inches wide and 33 inches overall and 24.75 nut to bridge.) A fun little git, a little weird to hold, its so small, and heavy in the neck. also due to the tiny super-portable body. Overall a nice buy, too bad its made in china, but if youre ok with undermining your country, buy one. eventually it wont matter anyway.

Great little guitar, great price
I love my little Applecreek travel guitar! It is small, sounds decent and it's extremely lightweight, which is what I want in a travel guitar. I don't expect it to sound like a full size, I can play those when I need that kind of sound. But this little guitar is perfect for bringing on trips, to the park or camping - and it does have a pretty good sound for its price!

Buy a ukulele instead! Small sizes and you won't hate the sound. :)
This is a pretty, little travel guitar, at a great price. It is small enough to fit in an airline overhead bin. Despite this, I don't like mine at all. It won't stay in tune. The neck is much smaller around than a regular fretboard. I just don't enjoy playing it.Give up and buy a ukulele for traveling. :)
