Does anyone know if the case is PU leather or real?

it's real leather. When you open the package the smell of it hits you and it's awesome.

Can these scissors be utilized by left-handed people?

Yes, these scissors have a symmetrical design and can be used by both left-handed and right-handed people.

Will these scissors work for someone with big fingers. I wear a size 12 ring?

I wear a ring size 8 and they are fine for me but the holes are not all that large. I use just finger tips in the scissor holes though. There are black pliable pieces in the holes that can be removed to make them a little bit larger. I measured the scissor hole with the liner piece removed and the tape measure showed approximately 3 and 1/2 inches. The holes are also a little off round or egg shaped. I just measured with micrometer. the hole without the finger rest is approximately .99 inches by .89 inches and the other hole is .985 inches by .84 inches without the liners this is widest and narrowest measures at least very close. Hope this helps.
