Instant Murals Planets and Stars Outerspace Wall Stickers

The item was shipped fairly fast, I ordered these for my space loving 3 year old. They looked amazing on the dark blue walls I painted. But our walls have a slight texture to them and after about an hour the edges kept curling up, and the larger planets (Jupiter and Saturn) completely fell off over time,(around 2-3 months) even with me continually pressing on the edges back down every few days. As of right now,(a year and a half later) I have 3 small planets currently stuck to the wall and a few stars left. Overall my son absolutely loved these, which is why they received the 3 stars. But I wouldn't plan on these lasting a few years. And once they hit the ground, they pick up any dust and will stick even less.

I am very happy with this product. They stick very well to my walls, (painted with flat black paint 3 weeks prior to application) Colors are rich and realistic. The Earth even has the "Thin Blue Line". I just wish this set had a sun.

I ordered this hesitantly after reading some reviews that the product would not stick to the walls. I applied the decals and they have remained secure for over a week and love them! The only think I was a little sad was there wasn't a sun and moon. (Although, I do understand that the product was of "planets".) Either way, I LOVE the decals!

No rating for this product. After a short time on walls, decal edges for planets pull away from wall and constantly pressing back down. Cool colors and all, but not satisfied with final results.

We were so excited about these but not that it has been a week or two that they have been up they are falling off. :( I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

These planets wall stickers look very nice and there are a lot of stars. Sticking them down can be a problem as they tend to curl up at the edges or fall off, even some of the small ones. I've had much less problem with other wall decals. I got two sets and both have the same problems. The vinyl is a bit thick for the adhesive and the vinyl might have been deformed during printing. Plus, the stickers arrived rolled in a tube. Flatten the sticker sheet for a couple of weeks under something lightweight. When applying use a hairdryer to warm the edges and press well. The stickers don't have to get hot, just warm.

I shied away from this product at first because the last two reviews said it did not adhere well. But nothing else I could find had all 8 (or 9) planets in anything near correct size. So eventually I got them and was amazed at how nice they looked. They do not stick well to a surface that is not smooth, like a textured wall, but a little rubber cement fixed that for me with a few minutes work. If I had applied a little cement to them before the edges started to peel, I expect it would have been even faster. To keep them from getting lost or torn before I had purchased the rubber cement, I slapped them on a bedroom door which was still textured but much smoother than the wall. There they adhered very nicely.

I bought these because, despite another buyer saying there was an issue with them sticking, they were the only planets that were about the correct size ratios and colors. And I deeply regret it now. They don't stick. At all. I put them up and Saturn had fallen off within 2 hours. Jupiter fell off that night and the rest of them are peeling off after 1 day. This is a horrible product. Don't waste your money.
