Greatest Hits

I have been a fan of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, now the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, for years. I enjoy watching the choir on Sunday mornings on television and listening to this Greatest Hits CD every morning on my way to work. You will enjoy this CD.

Found it very inspiring.........simply incredible. And great music, too. I love this Choir. Should be 10 stars, not 5.

Although the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is usually known for religious or Christmas music, this one is a total twist. It has everything from 76 Trombones to the Lord's Prayer, and everything in between. It is a great selection of songs, and as everything that​ is done by the choir is beautifully done. I have a copy that I leave in my car and another for the house. I never get tired of it. I wish they would put out another similar CD of mixed music. This was a great purchase.

Who woulda thunk it?! The MTC doing multiple Rodgers and Hammerstein classic gems, Dvorak, Bach, Schubert, Arlen, and others in a musical journey from the American stage and screen to traditionals such as The Lord's Prayer and The Battle Hymn of the Republic, to absolutely stellar romps through When You Wish Upon A Star, Whistle While You Work and Heigh-Ho! Heigh-Ho! My hat is definitely off to the ladies and gentlemen of the Choir, the directors, arrangers, and organists, and the countless members of the three orchestras it took to bring this magnificent collection off!

Some very nice arrangements of music that lifts one's spirits. Sound levels of the various "cuts" is somewhat inconsistent, requiring volume adjustment. A good choice if you're feeling down.

For a long time now I have admired the performances oh the Mormon Tabernacle Choir via Utube. CD became a Must Have to me. This CD provides me with hours of listening time as and when I wish, whether car or home. As usual with the choir the turnout of male and female choristers is immaculate. Their rendition of all numbers on the CD is perfection.
