Red Sandalwood Powder - 2 Oz.

Very nice, so evenly ground, just what I'm wanting for an Ayurvedic skin preparation. Be sure you don't make the reviewing mistake I made when I confused this good Chi Herbal sandalwood with an inferior sandalwood product I had gotten just prior to this purchase. Chi Herbals sandalwood smells fragrant and nothing like the order I mistook it for. Eager to get going with Ayurvedic skin care and Chi Herbals sandalwood!

This broke me out, I was mixing it with turmeric to make yogurt masks. I'm not sure if this is cosmetic grade.

This is described above as being pterocarpus soyauxi (actually soyauxii but probably a typo) which is African coralwood, not sandalwood. The packaging is rather basic and makes no mention of the proper name, but only reads "Red Sandalwood Powder" which is in contradiction to the description above. They have different properties as scientifically observed and therefore they have different results. Either the description is incorrect, or the product is incorrect. Either way the experience is not satisfactory. One has to be certain and have trust that a product is what it is said to be.

Took forever to get and then it does not mix well with the soap I'm trying to color.

Vibrant color. Earthy. I sprinkle this in my cleanser to wash my face! Glowing after each use. Gentle enough to use daily. Love it.

Good quality

Its a safe buy..I thinks its of good quality real sandal wood and can be mixed easily with honey or water.
