The wire keycap puller is easy to use and I prefer it over a plastic ring puller as it does not risk scratching the sides of the keycap being removed.I found the o-rings were effective at minimising the noise that came from bottoming out a keypress on my linear switches, though they won't do anything to reduce the noise of a switch coming back up, or suppress the intentional click that comes with clicky mechanical switches.The brushes are good for cleaning in the small gaps between switches once all the keycaps have been removed, and the cloth is useful for cleaning the surface of the keycaps from dust build-up.

I had to stack two bands on each key to dim the sound of my keyboard significantly, which may just be due to my keyboard. However, there are plenty of bands that this was possible. The key puller does the job, though some irregular keys were fiddly. The cloth provided is nice and an appreciated extra on top of the bands.They’re the first bands I’ve used on my keyboard, so I’m unsure if it’s supposed to be dimmed more with a single band on each, but overall, I’m satisfied with the bands and how it removes the plasticky clack, leaving just the switch’s click.

I have a Patriot Viper V760 keyboard and it is a little on the 'clacky' side, so I bought this kit to try and quieten it.Well, I am impressed. I used two dampeners on each key (apart from NUM 5 as I only had one left) and it has cut the sound level at least in half according to my tests. I do a lot of gaming and the 'clacking' could be heard over my microphone, but it's now a lot quieter.Great value and highly recommended.

The keycap puller works great.The o-rings have dampened the sounds of each of the keys.You might need to put on 2 o-rings for the main letter keys (as they can pushed up the stem a bit over time) but this is ok, as there is definitely enough o-rings to do this (especially if you don't have a full sized keyboard)The that came with this is great for getting dust out from the board.

Nice, unintrusive keycap puller. Goes under they key when pulling out to eliminate the change of scratching/damaging the sides of the keycap.

Mechanical keyboards make a click when the key bottoms out and when it gets to the other end of it's travel, when you let go. These O rings only address the first click and as others have said, the results are not that great. In fact, the results are not good at all. Going to remove them all and return this kit.I bought this kit because the clicking annoyed the Mrs, but she is not convinced and neither am I!

These help to cut off clattering, they do make it less tinny sounding and give the keys a pleasant soft bottom out, the keycap puller is easy to use and seems to be adequately robust, I used it to pull all of the keys of my Cherry MX keyboard, then clean it, I;m quite impressed at the price, recommend!
