Worth the money to avoid hassle
Replaced damaged thermometer in new grill. Cheaper than dealing with the hassle of trying to get one from grill manufacturer. Installed super easy, and seems to be accurate enough for what I'm doing.

Replaced a fired 700° thermometer on a sear. Works well.
I fried the 700° thermomenter the manufacturer mounted on my CC Side Kick sear unit while doing the burn in. Rather than have the manufacturer replace it, I order this 1000° thermometer. It works very well and has withstood the very high sear temps produced.

Good quality thermostat
Bought this one after the factory one literally fell apart. When I received it I noticed right away the quality and feel of it. This is definitely a great value. It is a nice size for easy reading and seems accurate. I keep our outdoor grills covered when not in use so I don’t know if it would condensate if rained on. Have been using it for about 6 months with no problem. Will be buying another one for our grill at our cottage as the original on it is falling apart as well.
