Good door
I like that it has a locking door on it. Good quality, a good size, and it was easy to install. It also looks good.

For the money - Great dog door!
I bought this to replace an old "Other brand named" dog door we have in out screened porch.I got this for 3 main reasons:1) The price. This is a great price for the size and features. The "Other brand named" price is not so pet$afe, so I was glad to find a large door for a good price.2) The size and door.... I was looking for a white door that is mid/large size that had a "clear/semi transparent" door. This checked the boxes nicely.3) Easy installation - this comes with a plastic small middle insert you can use to extend the opening size to accommodate a thicker door. In my case, I have a screen door... I put a 1/2 plywood on the side of the screen door, used the insert, cut a whole in the board and used it to allow for a nice tight install... more secure than I thought it would be. Mounting screws have an offset design so the don't run into each other from the other side... smart! Came with screws and some small plastic plugs to cover the holes. Nice extra! In the pictures you will notice I have some tape holding the flap slightly open... this is part of training to get her to use it, so she feels it slide along her back. Only had it a few days and she is already running up the ramp at full speed to come in. We will start having her push it with her nose soon enough. She is still a puppy ( 7 months old - Maltese/shih tzu mix named Coco)ONLY issue I had was the metal insert to "lock the door" has a pull pin that can secure it in place. That pin broke off immediately. It was the E-Clip on the back that flew off. I can try and fix it... but in the end... I can still use the dog door and even slide the metal guard in without locking it ... but was just disappointed on the that failure. Things happen though... for the money I am still happy. The ONLY real complaint I have (which I knew going in) was it has no magnets to secure the door into place. Just felt sweepers which often leave the dog door half propped open. I may experiment wit some magnetic strips on the bottom since the flap already has some metal on the bottom (I tested that it is actually ferrous metal with a magnet, so I will try some tweaks in the coming months... once our dog finishes her training with the door)Give this door a try... especially for an outdoor location like a porch. Exterior door might work too, if the seal can be improved.

Great Quality, great price!
This is a great doggy door and was way cheaper than other ones I've bought in the past. I like the way they put heavy metal along the bottom of the flap. My older ones alway curl eventually, because they aren't heavy towards the bottom.

Perfect!
We have a 100 pound Pitbull and a 10 Pomeranian that can use the door with ease. The instructions were great and it was easy to install. We like the metal closure, which is much stronger then the plastic one. It was a great purchase!

Good Door template too big
Great for the price. The problem is as 1 other reviewer stated is that the cutout template is too big. I had to alter because of this. Alter by putting screws at angle on each side because i had already cut it out the template size. Dog door is also not magnetic so it just flops. Now to the good. I have an iron security door that has 2 glass screen sections, 1 up top and one at the bottom. i needed to make a dog door at the bottom. I took out the bottom glass traced the dimensions over 3/4 inch plywood that i already had, cut it out, installed dog door, used 2 coats of SW exterior glossy paint that i already had, and a coat of Flex Seal liquid that i also already had, i purchased 1 1/4 screws and 1/2 washers to install in the original screw holes with the original clips. Removed 3 middle bars from the security door and installed… i also have another door with a cage on it behind so me removing the 3 bars for the dog door isn’t jeopardizing my actual security. Door is also a back door for a property that is fenced in. Check out the pictures and tell me how i did. Lost one star cause its plastic and one star for template size. CUT THE TEMPLATE 1/2 inch SMALLER!!!!

Dissatisfied
I replaced my front door to change the height of the dd, needless to say it didn’t take long for the plastic to warp and it won’t seal right, making it drafty and cold. Now I’m not sure if I should switch doors again. My smaller dog will have a hard time jumping through. Disappointed and mad
