Worked for my pool light fixture
These work perfectly fine in my Pentair pool light. I had previously purchased something similar from a pool supply company and it ran me $40 for EACH bulb. They burned out in about a year and were rarely used. These are almost identical with one exception, these do NOT have the protective glass shield covering the bulb, the bulb is exposed. Regardless, as long as the fixture is sealed properly it shouldn't make a difference, I replaced the gasket to make sure there would be no leaks and I am good to go with 4 more spares. Don't waste your money buying from a pool supply company, these are perfect with the same specs...

It's pink!
I expect the sides of the bulb to be anodized aluminum and they are but the light inside shows through pink and makes my whole fixture look gaudy. The beam itself is a nice sharp spotlight beam, which is hard to find these days, it has a nice clean white spot. But the bulb glows pink?

Be Sure you Need 12 VAC not 12 VDC bulbs
No where in the product description does it state that these are 12 VAC bulbs - usually when marked 12v that means 12vdc.

Pins are set too close together.
Disappointed. Waited a while for these to be delivered to get our old super 8 film projector going. You would've thought a M16 lamp was a pretty standard fitting but the pins in these bulbs are set too close together. As these bulbs are getting hard to find (leds won't work) we are now stuck with 6. They don't even make decent paper weights.
