Nothing beats this price
By far the best bang for your buck out there. I haven't had any noise issues at all on these and they work just as intended.

Best for the money
This us a PASSIVE direct box. It performs perfectly. Same as much higher, even 4 times higher price, for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended.

$85 for 5 DI's that are decent is a great deal
I'm a professional audio engineer by trade. I own several high end DI's from Radial to REDDI. Bidding a PA install, there wasn't much room in the budget for good DI's, so after looking at reviews, I suggested the venue try these. They appear to be well-built (for under $20/box), have all the features most engineers would require (at bare minimum at least), ground lift, several pad options, through output and the case is relatively beefy. Cases on a couple of them jiggle a bit, but what do you want for > $20? On their first night in action they were used to mix Mile's Davis's former keyboardist and Prince's bass player. While I didn't give them a super critical listening test compared to one of my Radial passives, I certainly didn't notice anything bad about them....nothing that stood out anyway. For the $, if you need cheap "utility" DI's, I'd say you can't go wrong with these at > $20/box.

A good deal for the money
A very good deal for the money. I've used these DI boxes for multiple applications in our studio. The ground lift feature is nice and has worked to solve low hz noise and hum with some musicians older and cheaper equipment.

Noisy compared to other DI boxes…
These little DI’s are housed in nice cases which is why I grabbed them. They have rubber feet and a nice powder coated finish…. But they are noisy. With no 1/4 plug plugged into the input or parallel jack there is a noticeable buzz when plugged into my studio console and my live mixer. The ground lift helps but I don’t have this issue with any other di’s. I bought 5 units and it’s present on every one. I suspected they were not grounded properly so I opened one up but there is a ground wire going to the case. Obviously the noise gets worse on lower gained instruments… (these are useless on acoustic guitars with passive pickups). That being said, for line level sources I think these would be ok… This last weekend I used them to hook up a DJ mixer (no problem), 2 synths (no problem) a bass guitar direct (noisy but better than the DI out on the amp) and an acoustic guitar with a passive pickup (not a useable signal…. Luckily I had a couple of Radials in my work box).Anyway, the metal case is nice but the jacks are plastic. There is some sort of grounding issue baked into the design I believe making these only really good for hotter level signals… I would not buy them again but I also don’t think I’ll return them….. really just a meh product…
