Very good read!
This is the third book in a series of 4. I forget where I came across the first book but I am working my way through the series and have enjoyed each book so far.The story focuses on the Kerr family who moved to rural Mallorca to run a small fruit farm and it follows the highs and lows as they try to settle in with their 2 teenage boys. There are some very colourful characters in the books especially Jordi (goodness only knows where he learnt his English!)and all sorts of interesting tales based on the language barriers and customs and the neighbours. I am going to be really sorry to get to the end of the series.

Lovely book
lovely book. This is the third time I have bought it ( & the rest of the set)...as I keep lending the set to people & never get them back !!Great holiday read the first in the series had me laughing out loud on the plane by page 11!! Get the whole set if you can...& don't lend them out ...as you will want to revisit in the future !

Book
Enjoyed all 5 of this series but mainly because I know Mallorca and had planned to go and live there - otherwise doubt they'd have meant as much but they bring back memories for me so enjoyed them on that basis....found across all 4 books the characters not only became real but in the end felt like friends....Squirrel 59 - M 8.4.13

Viva Mallorca, Si.
I have only just discovered this author, and really like his style. Having visited Mallorca several times in the past for holidays, this story brought the Island vividly to life for me. A lovely read, great characters, when I have finished this book I will go straight to the next one in the series.

Pure escape for the reader!
So wonderful to follow the Kerrs as the live their lives on Mallorca and reading about the characters that cross their lives and the evolving picture of the fruit farm and farmhouse! Just pure escapism for me. A bit sad that I have read the series of books in the two g order though!

Lovely true story about life in Mallorca.
Another lovely story about Peter Kerr's time with his family in the South West (ish) of Mallorca. Well worth reading. His books made me want to visit the area, which I did.

Another tale of Brits abroad
I enjoyed this but found myself skipping some of the overly long descriptions occasionally. Also thought it expensive considering it is fairly short.
