I received this shredder today and have only one word…AMAZING! I retired 2 1/2 years ago and lost my ability to use the big industrial shredder at work and my shredding bins are overflowing. I have a little one that is about 15 years old and on its last leg. I desperately needed to clear out files and get my home office in order so I decided it was time to upgrade. I read the reviews on this one and thought I’de give it a whirl. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! My shredder arrived at 10:00 a.m. and I started using it at 10:30 a.m. Other than a break for supper I used this thing ALL.DAY.LONG and just finished my project at 11:00 p.m. I shredded 4 big lawn and leaf bags full! It never overheated, it never jammed and although it’s not super quiet it’s a lot quieter than my old one. It took staples and did a few old credit cards as well. I didn’t push it with the full 18 pages it’s supposed to be able to handle but most of the time had 5-10 pages. Granted it wasn’t non stop shredding. There were short breaks as I sorted through old files and such but otherwise I was pretty much using this thing for about 12 hours straight. I have bought a lot of things off Amazon but this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review. This shredder came packaged very nicely too! I’m pretty impressed overall and would highly recommend this shredder to anyone.

Solid construction, and it chews through paper with ease. I have used it for up to 30 minutes with no overheating or paper jams. I get tired of shredding papers before it does.The one I got was the cross cut model. Unless you have top secret documents, nobody is going to put the little pieces back together again.

This is working well for us. My wife uses it and is very happy. You have to be a little careful not to shred to many sheets at once, this will jam it.

I had mine for 7 years and it just quit, no more power to the unit so not quite sure what's going on but 7 years isn't too bad for the price.

The product was good. We used it immediately and had no problem with the shredder. The instructions manual was clear and easy to follow. It is quite expensive compared to regular shredders, but it does deliver and does not overheat easily.

I had several years worth of papers to sort through and shred so I wanted something that was heavy duty and could handle at least an hour of constant shredding without overheating or jamming every few pages and this shredder did the job and then some. It has only jammed ONCE when my nephew was 'helping' and he like 30 unopened credit card offer envelopes plus some loose pages, but it was pretty easy to fix. It hasn't overheated at all despite some pretty heavy duty use. If you're buying this for use at home this will more than fit the bill and it's well worth the price. It's also really easy to clean out the tray, just slide it out and dump the contents in the trash. I also like that it automatically turns off when you stop shredding or when the catch tray is full. I would definitely recommend this shredder.

Great Shredder. Works well. Isn't too loud and can shred multiple pages at one time.

I wanted to buy a paper shredder that I could run continuously, without overheating, but having that feature makes the product too expensive for my needs. This one runs for 60 minutes without needing to stop to let it cool down. I have only had it for one day, so far, but have filled four 16-gallon bins with sheds of paper in about two hours of running time. I am very happy with this product, so far. I hope that it holds up as well as advertised. Time will tell.
