Let the fun begin!
We've used silicone cake cases before and are slowly moving into the world of silicone utensils, but this is one of our first forays into more novelty items. This is really in response to having friends who have made chocolate lollies and the like, using silicone moulds. We thought it would be a good choice to make things for those 'rainy days' during the school holidays or novelty gifts for family. The sheet is actually quite large, similar to an A4 sheet of paper - but a bit taller. The letters are also quite deep and chunky so you could get away with using them with a dense cake batter if the surface was primed properly, but not sure if something like jelly would be able to hack being pushed out of the moulds. We have tested these out with chocolate, cookie mix (this was pretty dense so it kept together) and as ice cubes. For our ice cubes, we've used it to spell out names, so there's no argument as to which drink belongs to which person :) They don't have to be used for cooking, though. I'm thinking of using them for clay moulding for Christmas decorations. As there's only one of each letter, you also need to plan ahead if you need more than one letter (or just buy another one!)My only niggle would be due to the nature of the silicone, it's super flexible - which is great for popping the shapes out for the mould - but not great for the sturdiness of the sheet, as it can't really be used on its own. I would recommend using this on top of a sturdy baking tray, otherwise it'll end in tears!

Not what I expected
Tried using them for fondant and they were terrible. It may have been the way that I tried using them but the fondant stuck to the sides despite using corn flour so they were distauted when they can out and there were lines in them because the fondant wasn't smooth. That was probably my error. I will try baking letters with the mould in the future.

Great product
Great product that is easy to use. I’m using it for resin work but I can imagine it would be great for baking too.

Bad quality
Unfortunately very bad quality. It tore to pieces after one use, that also while demoulding for the first time. Very disappointed as I was very excited to use it.
