The lights look lovely but unfortunately they don’t come with fire hoods so we’ve now got to wait for our electrician to come back with compatible hoods

I’ve installed quite a few down lighters in our house already and we wanted something a bit different in our downstairs toilet. The recessed light gives a cone of light that works really well in a smaller room. We fitted low wattage GU10 LEDs and really impressed with how they’ve worked. Lights come with nicely covered connection blocks ready to wire in. Little bit more expensive than other down lighters when you factor in the bulbs but def worth it for something different.

The look of the lights is great! Clearly good quality and a big difference between this and others. Unfortunately, I did not understand this was not fire-rated so I have to return, but the seller was patient and quick to respond to queries. Had I not required a fire-rated ceiling, I would have chosen these items as they are clearly superior to other products out there

We’ve installed 16 of these in our new kitchen. They are really nice installed. The fact they are recessed means you don’t see the lamp, so no glare. We found the connection blocks really fiddly so cut them off and used Wago connections.

Lovely, these were for an alcove lighting feature about textured/split-face tiles, and having them recessed like this makes the effect much nicer as it reduces glare from the face of the LED bulbs - obviously you need to ensure you have the height in the void above them as they do intrude into the void more than mostI will say that, for what they are, they are a little expensive but there was not much else on the market available at short notice. The luminary seems a little "flimsy" in the way the electrical connector hooks onto the fitting via the spring clip, but this is only a minor issue, just need to be careful when inserting/removing from the cutout hole.

Looks and matches other fittings (which were somewhat cheaper) I had in the hallway. I wanted a matching fitting which this is but it isn't as good quality as previously mentioned fittings and the photo clearly doesn't show the method the lamp is held in place. Which is by a spring clip which is clearly visible. It is only that the fitting is higher than others that you cannot see it. Please be aware this fitting doesn't look as good as the sales information.
