I'm using these to help increase capacity and organization in my dresser as well as a few other places. They're the perfect size, sturdy, and the non-slip pads on the bottom work nicely. As well as they work for what I'm using them for, I'm sure they're fantastic bookends also! Cannot recommend them enough!!

These are not the most rigid bookends out there (they can be bent out of shape fairly easily by hand) but they do hold books upright without sliding or tipping over as long as the books are placed on them upright. Don't know that they'd hold up to heavy textbooks or dictionaries falling sideways onto them, but the bookends will hold heavy books in place if you are careful about placing them straight on the shelf. We have so many bookshelves around the house where we just needed something solid to hold the books from slipping or getting pushed off the edge. These do the trick. They don't scratch the shelves, they don't get bent out of shape by upright books, they were at a great price point, and I should have plenty for just wherever while we reorganize our bookshelves. So nice to have a large multipack of these for when I need something to hold things in place (including sliding organizing baskets, random piano books, and puzzle boxes that need corralling). Reasonably solid for what I needed them for, good price point, happy to have them as extras when I need them.

The bookends were purchased for a museum research room. They are quite sturdy for the small size, though I don’t think they can be considered heavy duty. The pads on the bottom do a good job of protecting our new shelving from scratches. I actually just ordered another set. Very good buy!

They are strong,the color black makes them inconspicuous, the price for so many is very reasonable making it possible. to separate my books by subject.

You won't find a better value for your money than these little guys. They are light enough that a baby could bench press them but tough enough that even Websters can't take them down. With 20 of them coming all at once to your doorstep in a day or two, your books will quickly see who's boss as you make them stand tall and stay in place. I've deployed these little soldiers to our basement, three bedrooms, living room, workshop, and kitchen. They are so useful that I'll be ordering another set to bring order to the rest of my bookshelves.
