Chartres Hand Held Pewter Pocket Labyrinth

Gorgeous little labyrinth! I love how portable it is. Tucked safely in my purse, it's a handy tool for stress relief and meditation. I expected the stick that comes with it to be cheap but was impressed by how sturdy it is. High quality item for the low price!

Very well made. Heavy weighted, no burrs in the metal, well packaged and I know it will get a lot of use. I am a fan of labyrinth walking and given the cold of the current winter we're experiencing it has been difficult to get out and walk the one I built in my yard. This will work to clear the mind-chatter that I normally would relieve from walking the "real" one.

I like the concept and all but this is SO small and the lines are so narrow that it's hard to guide any pin through it without skipping on it and having to open your eyes back up so to make sure you're actually on some track. I can't imagine anyone meditating with this tiny thing. I had to return it, was very disappointed. Maybe there is a way to make the surface smoother so the experience may be better. either way I am getting a much bigger on, learned the lesson.

Beautiful; nice weight! I don't care for the annoying sound it makes as I move the stylus. Hopefully with use it will go away.

Bought this for a gift but played with it a bit first. The weight is very nice and heavy for the size, and it comes with a card explaining what it is and how to use it in case the person getting it doesn't quite know. I was hoping the action of the stylus would be smooth, but it's a bit scratchy and rough along the grooves. If that's a texture you like then it works, but if you're looking for a smooth silky movement it's not that. There weren't any sticky spots or places it caught, though.

Looks cheaply made - stylus included is bent. When you run the stylus around the labyrinth it is rough and screeches - not calming as intended. Trying to find a rubber tip for it or use a toothpick!

It's very pretty, it helps clear my head so I can work through the mental aspects of tasks and planning.

Was introduced to handheld labyrinths at a retreat a few months back, fell in love, and was finally able to get one for myself after Christmas. A lot smaller than I expected as the one I had used was bigger than my hand, this fits in my palm. I'll definitely want to get the bigger one some other time, but the size of this is actually great because of how easily it slips into my pocket.It does have some rough bits that make it squeak, as other reviewers have pointed out, but I don't mind that all that much. If you can get a stylus from a different material then it won't make that noise.
