The size/design of the Sploofy make it easy to make a seal with your mouth, the multi layer filter (which seems like it must be the largest by volume out there) really takes care of catching odor. No filter erases it completely, but the Sploofy absolutely performs the best out of anything I’ve used. Extra effective when you’re vaping on account of there is no smoldering flower material kicking odor into the air! The Sploofy is truly a vapers/dabbers delight! Out of every brand we’ve used the EcoFourTwenty performed by far the worst in terms of odor control.The life cycle. The Sploofy is without a doubt the longest lasting personal filter I’ve used. The product specs say you should get between 300-500 exhales but I experience no deterioration of performance for much longer than that! As a daily user I never experience the extremely noticeable clog you feel on other filters. Seriously, other filters end up so choked you literally have to force your breath through. Not so with the Sploofy! It’s a smooth, easy exhale from start to finish.Cost. Over time the Sploofy will absolutely save you money. The replaceable filters are ridiculously easy to swap out and the shipping time from these folks is fantastic.Eco friendly! The body of the Sploofy is a thin but sturdy plastic and the replaceable filter system creates less waste while also saving you money in the long run. Believe me, I spent way too much money on competitor brands figuring that out. Every SmokeBuddy filter kills the earth with their single use, thick plastic design. The EcoFourTwenty would be great as well if it’s filtering capabilities weren’t so poor.Over all the Sploofy is the best filter I’ve ever used. I’ve been using this product for about 3 years now and I love it so much. This little device is an absolute game-changer for controlling smoke and odor. I had to get my friends one for Christmas. It's portable, easy to use, and does a fantastic job of filtering out smoke, leaving virtually no trace behind. The build quality is impressive, and it feels durable enough to last a long time. Love the brand and will always say good things about sploofys. I have the older version and these cartridges fit great for that.

These work great but the cost adds up. I use these in combination with a Blue space air filter to minimize odor and AQI in my apartment. I'm a daily bong smoker and a filter typically lasts me 1-1.5 weeks. Thankfully it's just me, I can imagine it gets too pricey with more than one smoker in the house. I also find that if you use it for vape(yes, vape vapor destroys AQI the same as smoke) it goes *much* faster, likely due to the moisture with vapor. In my opinion, it's the best on the market in comparison to Smoke Buddy but I wish the refills were a bigger pack and a few bucks cheaper. I have to order about 2x a month.

Updated to 5 stars as there is now a subscription option.My only complaint: I see that we can do a subscription for the sploofy, but not the 3 pack replacement filters. Even if there was no discount, having this set up to ship automatically would be awesome.Overall, these things are awesome. We have the old style and the new one. Sometimes smoke can leak out from around your mouth, but you might need a filter change or to hold it tighter. Filters last decently long, no clue if itd actually 300-500, but it does last longer when used for vapor instead of smoke. We use this indoors in conjunction with a shark air purifier because our pet has asthm and we dont want the smell to linger. When you walk in it doesnt smell at all, and we leave these out on the table.As someone else wrote, you should open it and let it dry after the session, the filters last a little longer that way, and will be easier to breathe through. You can use the bottom piece as a stand to set the filter and top plastic piece on to dry so you can just snap it on for next time.Really enjoy it, just wish it had a subscription.

I love the functionality but not sure I can continue using at these prices.
