The weight is awesome. I have some big, thick textbooks, and this does a great job holding the pages open. I like that you can easily move this around on the book to accommodate the book or place in the book you need to stay open. I often go to coffee shops so this is easy to toss in my bag and take with me. Seems to be good quality. I plan to buy a couple more so that I can have multiple books open at once.

I love the size and weight of this book weight. It’s just what I was looking for. This is the second one I’ve bought. It’s not heavy enough for a small, thick book on its own, but it still makes holding the book open much easier. I’m a reading tutor and use it for online and in person classes. It holds most books open hands-free. Like I said before, if it’s a smaller, thicker book it does require a bit of pressure from your hand, but still makes holding it open much easier! I love it! So do my students 🩷. They call it “Floppy Man”😂

These are the perfect sized, perfect designed, book weights. I read classic novels every day, and this works to keep the pages down and the book opened. I get asked about it a lot. I've given a couple as gifts and the recipients loved them. I've priced out other options that do not weigh as much or are not as attractive as this one.

It looks well made, not sure if it is real leather but looks like leather.The weight is ok, but depending on the book you need to put the weight fully on the side that is trying to close, using it across the 2 pages does not work all the times
