I read the works of Florence Scovel Shinn a number of years ago and I am delighted to now find that her books have been consolidated into one book. This great lady was born in 1878 and self-published her first book in the 1920's. Many of the well-known prosperity writers have used her book of affirmations and now anyone who has heard about The Secret, will be very happy with this woman's book of simple and easy-to-use affirmations. They are timeless. Women will gain much from these affirmative statements. Thinking positive is male oriented because male is considered positive and female is considered negative. Think about it. In coupling a hose, there is the male and the female. To utilize electricity, there is the male plugging into the female socket. Thus, down through the ages, women have had the reputation of being negative and considered 'bad'. It is time for women to throw off that yoke and affirm that they are wonderful and powerful. I bought this book as a gift for a friend. I have a copy myself and love it. I have read and reread it many times, as it is worth studying. There is such great wisdom in this book(s), and presented in an easy to understand and entertaining way. Everyone could benefit from reading it. My friend, by the way, loves it and has already read it completely through & has started rereading it. 🙂

Forget the self help books please buy this book. This is the only tool you will need! Inspiring words to heal and teach you on your journey and path. I would highly recommend to people that are looking for direction. I purchased my first copy of Florence's books called THE GAME OF LIFE AND HOW TO PLAY IT over 20 years ago. Then bought her book called THE WISDOM OF FLORENCE SCOVEL SHINN soon after. This is the same book as THE COMPLETE WRITINGS OF FLORENCE SCOVEL SHINN FOR WOMEN. Now having it on Kindle makes it so much easier to read. I use her affirmations constantly. Her explanations make her writings so easy to comprehend, because she explains things by writing them as real life situations. My daughters often ask me to give them an affirmation for a certain situation they might find difficult. So I quote one from her book. Florence has an affirmation for every situation which makes life so positive.

This is an excellent book it is very inspirational. Florence Scovel Shinn spiritual insight provides such clarity. I would recommend this book to anyone who wish to have a happy and successful life.

It's same as the collected wisdom by the same author except that women word is added to make it specific for women., but didn't get a discounted price. Not a good deal price wise
