Wallace Organic Wonder Soluble Seaweed Powder Organic Fertilizer (5-Pounds)

Last year I started using Wallace's compost tea, and his "Pumpkin Pro" microbes. My Formula has 30+ liquid nutrients, ranging from heavy-duty synthetics, to liquid fish/bat guano, to a few dozen other liquid organic products. (Maybe 20 amendments in my super soil). (See attached image). This is actually my good friend's nutrient arsenal, but mine is basically the same thing (only on a much smaller scale). If you look up top, you'll see some liquid mykos and Azos, as well as a bag of WOW fulvic/humic (can't remember the name right now, but it's awesome). On the second shelf you can see some bags of WOW tea (which is DEFINATELY the best bagged tea on the market).up top, you'll see a bag of WOW soluble kelp between the liquid Mycos and the Insect Frass, which is what this post is about:WOW Soluble Kelp is THE. BEST. KELP. EVER!!!!!!!! I love Age Old products, so my previous standard was Age Old Kelp.i picked up some WOW Kelp last month, and my results were so good, I actually e-mailed Ron to ask him what the hell makes the kelp so awesome. Apparently it has a lot to do with where it's sourced from. Ron explained all the science stuff behind it, but to be honest I don't care where it's from, and why it works. I just know that it does.The most obvious effect was in veg. The nodes tightened up, and- no exaggeration- EVERY DEFICIENCY DISAPPEARED IN A WEEK. Now I can't credit this fully to WOW Kelp (just because my Boron deficiency disappeared, and kelp doesn't contain Boron), but just eye-balling it, I'd say that 90% of the improvements were off that kelp.Flowering-wise, I'm seeing a change in terpenes. The aroma profile-base went from "earthy," to "earthy/candied" quick. I don't know why that happened- I just know that it did. I also noticed a steep increase in leaf-angle, so I know it's improving the general health of the plant.WOW soluble kelp is the cat's meow. If you're an organic grower, this stuff is magic ticket. Cheap, effective, and fresh as can be.Once I see the final results, I'll re-post with a more detailed breakdown, but for now I just want to say that WOW Kelp is on the same level of awesomeness of Age Old Grow. If you're about terpenes and flavonoids, definatety get this stuff.

While this stuff has a ton of minerals, vitamins, and enzymes which the plants love, it also contains natural growth-accelerating plant hormones, amongst which is gibberellic acid (a catalyst for seed germination). Older seed that I couldn't get to germinate with plain water, germinated after I watered with this and the WOW brand humic/fulvic mix. Most importantly of all, in this organic grower's opinion, seaweed feeds the soil microbiology, and the microbes in turn make all kinds of other nutrients (including nitrogen and phosphorus) much more highly available to the plants -- and that's just one of the benefits. Water and nutrient retention, overall stress resistance, and helping the plants adapt to a wider pH range are just a few more. Happy soil makes happy, pest-resistant plants. I add at half strength to compost tea to give the microbes a boost. Cheers!

Very economical for the quality of seaweed you get. I used to buy Maxicrop 1 gallon concentrate, but when I learned it is simply seaweed powder mixed with tap water, then shipped, what a terrible waste of energy and material. And expensive.I can make much more, using better water at my home, and it costs much less, by simply reusing 1-gallon jugs from Medina that once held other organic materials. I just finished my last order of ten pounds I purchased at the end of 2015. Getting ready to order more. My grounds, especially the vegetable garden and trees, including fruit trees, are very healthy and far outperforming the neighbors' trees that are poisoned by synthetic fertilizers and broadcast weed killers.The owner includes a nice note with the product. Great touch.
