Understanding Pharmacology for Health Professionals (4th Edition)

Rented this book for a class. I found this book enjoyable, especially with all the side bits of information. Book arrived as expected and quickly. I thought about buying it out instead of returning it. The buyout cost was more than the book was worth as the book had obvious wear and tear. If the book was better condition I would have considered it. Would have been cheaper to return it and buy a newer copy. Regardless, still a great book with great information.

I love the book. We are actually using the 5th edition though and I thought this would be pretty close. It is not! So much was added to the next edition you really can't get by without it. But it has helped me greatly in some ways. Thanks!

I bought this used, and I'm happy the person who had it before me took such good care of it. The cover is bent, and the paper isn't the strongest but for the price I paid and the timely service it's not much of a complaint. This book has a bunch of amusing tangents in the text so it's actually quite enjoyable to read with concise chapters.

I purchased this book for a class in college, but I find myself referring back to this book quite frequently. It has a lot of helpful information beyond the classroom setting. This was one of the more enjoyable classes I have taken.

At first I thought this textbook was going to be the same old medical textbook that made no sense. This book, however, is exactly the opposite; the author of this textbook has made the content easy to understand and has also added silly pictures and comics to keep the student engaged. I think this book is great for anyone going into pharmacology.

Quick shipping & easy transaction. Book was a little more beat up than I expected. Has black markings on top edges of the pages & blacked out label of previous owner on inside back cover. The black marker leaked through to the back cover & some sort of label has been ripped off causing the back cover to stick to the last page of the book.

I needed this book for school. The book is easy to follow and easy to understand for the most part. I like that each chapter has review questions at the end and it does help test me knowledge on what I read in the chapter. Shipping was very quick with amazon prime.

Cheers to Susan M. Turley for creating a pharmacology book that does not put you to sleep. This book is very informative and teaches in a non-professor like manner. The information covers everything from basic pharmacological knowledge to advanced. The style of the author makes this book fun to read and easy to understand. This book is a must for all those in the health profession.
