Great replacement hasp
I used these hasps to replace the old push style clasps on my trumpet case. They worked out great for me, but there are a few things to consider for your own project1) As others have mentioned, screws are not included. I needed to use screws and nuts for my application. All the hasps with fasteners have wood screws included. I would have had to procure screws and nuts anyways.2) The arm bar rests about 2mm above the side screw holes. I shaved the top of the side screws with a belt sander. I think they were designed for rivets, but it was easy to modify my screws.3) The side holes are right up against the lock body. I flattened one side of each of the side screws with a belt sander.4) The underside of the lock body has a raised section. This worked on my case because I had to straddle a metal trim piece. If you are mounting these on flush sides, they will have a gap under them where they latch.Overall, these are a great value for a DIY fix. New trumpet cases are about $100, so the $4ish I paid is a great value. I will be saving these in an Amazon list for future projects!

Good draw latches
These worked great. Draws up tightly. No complaints. other than no included screws, I had to use #4 x 1/2" pan head sheet metal/wood screws to fasten them. Five per latch.

good one
This is a really good one. If you have the thoughts on how to install it it is going to be great. This is a fair price for a small quantity that i need for a bigger pack I would look someware else. Fast delivery.I installed this latch no a little case and the only problem is that when open one part wings too much, but I guess there is no need to carry the case open. I would buy this again and recommend it to my fellow craftsmen. This is great if you need a reliable product that will last a really long time

Cheap and fast
These are very cheaply made but will hold up a long time regardless as they seem to be well suited to light use. Shipping was very fast, something you don't often get for China stuff.

buyer beware- poor specifications ... travel at your ow risk
4.2023... this listing lacks specifications and the pictures are inadequate... I see that most of thee offered have only a pic and they are subtly different from each other...come on guys we need a three dimensional drafted print or at least a double with dimensions...I am using this to refurbish a sax case... 1970 bundy fiber case... with a upper and lower i/2 inch closure aluminum binder... buying this latch is a gamble as I have only the picture (be sure and examine it closely) to determine if it may spec out... after receipt I now know that is will fit only after I modify the case binder with 1mm x 3mm slots to accept the offset on the lower latch. The screw holes are tapered so you need a countersunk screw or thin, flat rivet.. diamteer of the holes is 3.5 mm - I am using a M3 x 3 or 5 mm -p50 machine screw matched to a very short sleeve nut. and some washers to reinforce the backing. the lengths you use will vary with what you are working with.

Perfect
My trombone case came with two broken latches and this brand looked like the closest match to what was already there. It was a perfect exchange. Removed the side of the latch that was broken and it worked perfectly with the half that was intact. Very pleased with how the project turned out
