Chapter “issues” covered. AMAZING book
First of all, I love these characters so much. The storyline is awesome and I will always be crazy over crossovers (especially with these dorks). The first book, titled “Isn’t it Bromantic?” Contains issues #1-#5 then jumps to issue #8. This is due to the fact of when the comics were being released at their original dates, they had a filler comic and an inventory comic between them. You don’t miss any of the actual plot from the first five issues if you don’t have #6(the filler chapter) and #7(the inventory chapter). If you get the second book, “Side Pieces” both chapter, 6 and 7, are in them. #6 calls itself a “filler plot” through Deadpool’s forth wall breaking and #7 has a note from Jordan D. White (from Mavel Comics) explaining the reason for chapter 7 being an inventory chapter.I really hope this helps someone better understand the chapter jumps. It’s not technically missing any chapters, and the plot is, for the most part, continued straight into chapter/issue #8. -from a true believer.

Loooove this Series.
This series is everything I wanted and more. I highly recommend for any deadpool or spiderman fan. I read it in one afternoon. I could not put it down. I am a huge Spideypool fan and even though I doubt we'll ever get a real romance with these two I am willing to take whatever scraps the creators are willing to toss us fangirls.

Funny and inane
Marvel finally decided to make a Spider-Man-Deadpool team up comic. This collects issues #1-5 and 8. It was only natural that this would come about. Deadpool often talked about how much he liked Spidey and the two both like talking. At the same time Peter Parker can’t stand Wade Wilson so they make an odd couple. The basis of this collection is that Pool is trying to be a better person and decides to hang out with Spider-Man to improve himself. At the same time he wants to kill Peter Parker because he thinks he’s a greedy businessman not knowing Parker’s secret identity. Wilson even reveals his daughter Ellie to Parker and Spider-Man thinks he can reclaim a lost soul.In the process they go through a whole bunch of random bad guys. They make one liners at each other. Things get blown up. People get stabbed. You know the business. Wilson even tries to set Spidey up with a blind date which blows up in their faces. It’s fun and inane at the same time.

Missing issues is an issue
I liked the book well enough, at least until I finished issue 5. Then it jumps to issue 8. Why? Why exclude two issues? They aren't in the next book either - that one does even more jumping around and excludes further issues. I don't see how it benefits Marvel to leave issues out of these books and it certainly doesn't benefit the reader to only get half the story.I cant recommend this book because it's incomplete and feels like a ripoff.

Highlights how lame Spidey has gotten since the end of Superior Spider-Man.
Well there is 3 things about this tradeI don't like so I'll just get them out of the way immediately.1. It starts with the 1st five issues then jumps to issue 8 which when I read the synopsis, I didn't think it would bother me because im not a fan of Deadpool or the current status Dan Slott has put Spider-Man in as billionaire Tony Stark/Bruce Wayne rip-off. Once I finished the 5th issue and skipped issues 6 & 7 because Marvel decided to leave them out anyway even though on the back of the book they give you the idea those stories are included I got frustrated going to issue 8. I don't buy single issues from Marvel because the prices for their single issues are ridiculous especially when you compare them to what DC is doing, so didnt know what stories were contained in each issue of this trade. Missing out on those 2 chapters of this series did bother me a little because now im left wondering what happened in them, im guessing they'll put them in the next trade or leave them out of the trades altogether just like what happened with Rick Remender's Venom series which has kept me from picking them up.2. Spider-Man he's my favorite character Marvel has and Deadpool is one of the characters they have I dislike the most but I like him way more than Spidey in this book. Peter Parker/Spider-Man comes off as a total knob when interacting with Deadpool save for one section when Deadpool gets him a date but that's the only part I found Spidey as an enjoyable character. I assume Joe Kelly is writing Spider-Man that way because he's not a fan of the current version of Spider-Man either and is jabbing at editorial for turning him into a turd.3. The dialogue left me scratching my head a lot, when the 2 heroes would speak with each other. it would start off well then suddenly hit a brick wall and the dialogue would just leave you hanging. Maybe its just the character of Deadpool and how he is written that im not used to reading or the writer should have spent a little extra time going over his work. Whatever the case this could have been done better. Now what I likeThe artwork was great and it was the first time I actually read something Ed McGuinness has done the art for and id love to see more of his work in conjunction with Spider-Man in the future once the character is being handled better in the main Spider-Man book. While I feel that Spider-Man sucked in this book Im glad Joe Kelly highlighted how much of a snob he is in it reflecting what I think of him in the Amazing Spider-Man series and I give him credit for making me care WAY more for Deadpool. While I have problems with the dialogue it was a fun book until the end when they skip over Issues 6 & 7 and go straight to 8 instead, i'm probably going to grab the next trade assuming those missing issues are included in that one. If you like current Spider-Man and the Deadpool character id say pick it up, or even if you despise the current interpretation of Spider-Man and want to see him be shown in a negative light while interacting with a character who just wants to be his friend pick it up, Maybe this series will be the one to make me enjoy Deadpool as a character, I certainly liked him better in this than I did my favorite superhero.

A Merc with a friend?!
Deadpool and Spiderman... And the Merc with the mouth honestly cares about someone else? Fantastic! Unless Wade is crazier than usual, his confession that he's actually concerned with Spiderman's state of mind is, well, mind-blowing.Five stars and worth every one.

Wrinkled but wonderful
Product itself is absolutely amazing - improper packaging, however caused it to come stuffed into my mailbox. I've spent a week trying to get the huge crease out of it. If I'd bought it used, I'd be more understanding, but purchasing a new comic book, this is a little ridiculous.

Deadpool is back
As a big deadpool fan i was excited to read this story. What this trade brought to be was an interpretation of Deadpool I didnt even know I was missing. The current ongoing main Deadpool title is very good but without realising it i felt it had lost some of its character for "deeper" story plots. This book takes us right back to the Deadpool we all know and love and his relationship with Spiderman is what makes this book so great. They are so oposite but it works and you can't help but feel sorry for deadpool in his desperation to be accepted by his idol Spiderman.

You Have Death Breath
Not bad, but I've read better 'pool tales.Pete's assistant is weird looking and creeps me out.Pete's often harsh on Deadpool and seems to have lost his sense of humor, so he's less likable.Things pick up near the end and I'm left wanting to know more, only, judging by the reviews, there's a continuity glitch and get the impression i should skip straight to volume 3?Not sorry to have it in my burgeoning collection though and I'll read it again some time and maybe like it better. So yeah, recommend it.

THE WAIT IS OVER!
I have been waiting for YEARS for this! I was so excited when I saw Marvel were doing a series of team up comics of this pairing, I love them in the cartoons whenever they are together, or when they are seen in other comics together for a brief issue, but it's great for them to have a new, up to date, modern series of their own.

Amazing!
The artwork and story/banter between spider man and deadpool in this comic is absolutely phenomenal. I have already pre-ordered volume 2 which will be coming out in a few days (I prior deres it in december). It's a must have graphic novel if it's what you're into.
