Dunlop Sports Junior 0/8 Grip Action Junior Tennis Racquet

Update November 2013: I bumped up the 3 stars to 4 stars because I bought her another racquet thinking this one wasn't good for her but she ended up preferring this one. She doesn't swing as fast with this one but she likes it for the colors and the size.Original review: "I regret buying this"I bought it for my daughter who is 5 1/2+ and about 60%-ile in height. From the 5 star reviews I thought she would love it and she does but mainly for the colors - this is her first racquet so that's expected.I want to mention a couple thing for those shopping for a 21-inch racquet.1) The racquet handle is thicker than other junior racket. I bought a Wilson 25-inch racquet and its handle is slimmer.2) The racquet is relatively heavy. In fact, it weighs as much as the 25-inch Wilson I bought for my son and it is significantly shorter.3) I used Prime shipping and it took 3 days (1 day past estimate) so don't wait until the last minute to buy these racquets for class! I did not dock a star for that though.So this racquet is okay. I went to Target and Big 5 afterwards and saw for the same price I could have gotten a Wilson with slimmer light racquet and I wish I had because when I see her try to return the ball, she lacks speed and a lighter racquet would have helped and she has 5-6 year old hands and a slimmer grip would have been better for her.

My 5 year old grandson handled this racquet very well just getting started with tennis. He enjoys the game and I think it has alot to do with properly sized equipment that doesn't tire him out too quickly by being too heavy or large.

This racquet is perfect for 5 to 6 year olds. They could grip and swing them easily. Seem to be well made.

Bought this for my 9 yr old son. Alright for casual play, but too heavy for serious/ tourament play. Not bad for the price though.

My 4 year old daughter loves this racquet. It's light weight and functional. Would recommend this to any kid learning how to play tennis.

Perfect starter racket for my six your old. Fits him perfectly and he loves it and he can swing it comfortably with one hand. The only downside is it didn't come with a cover.
