Swann Communications PRO-581 Multi-Purpose Day/Night Dome Camera

Camera shows clear and a great product. I have been a fan of swann for years. It works great with my swann dvr. Seller was wonderful and understanding. Good person too. Thanks you so very much and hoping to do business again in the future!

Installer said it was a malfunctioning camera. I had throw packaging away so I did not return and counted as my loss. Discourage as a client for future purchases.

Picture is very poor quality. Easy to install. But is not worth the 35$ I paid for it

update, the camera seamed to be going on the frits but fixed itself, the problems stopped when the weather warmed up maybe? Not sure why. But I'll take it. For the age and lower resolution the camera does pretty good. Mostly its cool looking dome and I have not seen any quality dome cameras.------------First off I should start by stating that Swann cameras and their DVR's have been top notch. After all the research I've done and after using them for a year now and reviews Ive read their products last the longest and work the best in this price range. My father in law likes them better than the camera's he put in using a security company. This is an older camera that I do not recommend compared to the one I linked below. Although it did really well up until this last couple of weeks. I have another one in the garage that seems to be fine, however it's not as good in resolution that I would have wanted.This camera is installed right outside my front door. It is beginning to fail. I got it on sale at radio shack for $65.00. I do not recommend it. Even though it looks tight, there are better cameras that will do you much better in both quality and longevity. Since the camera is entirely plastic accept for a few small pieces it is very flimsy. You can easily break it if you aren't careful while installing it or re-aligning the camera.Although the dome cameras look really cool they are nothing compared to the new standard ones such as these (which I've found either here or on walmart) for very inexpensive. But the quality of the image is just as good as the 700tvl camera's that go for over $130.00 each.
