This formula saved my hair! I was so frustrated, sad and scared. Myy hair was so damaged from repeated dye jobs that it was breaking off and falling out. A friend reminded me about nexxus and I ordered as soon as I got home. I looked at all their options and settled on therappe shampoo and conditioner. I felt the difference with the first wash. Two months in and my hair is transformed, soft shiny and no longer breaking off. My hair looks and feels healthy, shiny and touchable!! It's amazing. This is now my favorite subscription!! Lathers beautifully, the conditioner is amazing, the scent is wonderful. I couldn't ask for more ❤️

I've been using this shampoo for decades on and off. I'm sure this formula is totally not the same I began using all those years ago, but fortunately it seems to have stuck fairly closely to it's good formula that seemed to be developed around 12 or so years ago after it went thru it's big change. Anyway, this on Amazon did seem to be the real product, & I was thankful to find it on sale here. It replenishes the moisture in your hair. I use it to rehab my hair from coloring more often as I get older. It is great. I've seen so many reviews claiming this shampoo, or other great moisturizing shampoos like it, and/or conditioners, are making people's hair fall out. My opinion, not of course knowing these folks in person, but I'd like to venture out with some explanations of what is actually happening. I have very great thick hair. I was blessed with genetics in that regard, thank goodness. Since I began conditioning my hair at age 12, gobs, and I do mean literal gobs of hair come out whenever I wash and condition. I never worried about it because no matter how many hair "wookies" left behind (I smear them on my shower wall to prevent them going down the drain, kinda gross I know, but it saves having to fish them out if the drain with a coat hanger later 😖) but no matter the mass quantities of hair shed left behind, I've never had any thinning or shortage of hair. I've also been cutting my own hair since age 12, but the few times I've visited an actual hair stylist, I have asked them about the gobs of hair that come out when I shower. They've all said the same thing: that it's a normal sign of healthy hair. That's been my experience as well. So I'm just saying, if you use this great moisturizing shampoo, & you lose more hair than usual in the shower etc, please don't panic. It might seriously only be because this product is actually working. Now, I can't explain the poor people who've posted with huge thinning spots on their head etc., but I've even wondered if it might not be corporate sabotage. This is a great product, & it's become a staple in many people's hair routines, so it seems possible that a competing company might pay people to light up the review boards of competing products with wild posts warning about hair loss, preying literally on every girl's worst vanity nightmare. 🤷‍♀️ Who knows. The last possibility is that China & other countries slip in some fake product here & there, as I've seen in documentaries. But this seller here seems safe, & I at least have received what I believe to be the real product, & I think I'm on my 3rd bottle now. Who knows. I just wanted to clarify that indeed, as you moisturize your hair, with any good shampoo/conditioner, it smoothes the hair follicle & the hair. Making it easier for the loose strands to wash away. These are just strands that were going to be replaced by new ones anyway. But yes. There might be a period where you lose a lot more hair in the beginning, then as your hair catches up with the new smoothing shampoo etc, it evens out. But it's not a negative. Your hair will reap the benefits of being smoother, shinier, healthier. Also, hair growth literally has seasons. Mine grows longer in the summer but thicker in the winter for some reason. Some articles I've read suggest it depends on where you were born & the climate/seasons in that neck if the woods. Wild stuff. Anyway, just don't panic about the hair in the shower. Because stress absolutely will make your hair fall out. 😬 I love this shampoo & beg the hair fairy gods please don't mess with it. Let us keep using it. 😀 The scent is lovely, the quality is great, and I've got more of my natural curls back after a season of frying my hair to the point all I had were frizzed out waves. Great shampoo! So glad I bought this. My hair is mmsoft and silky and easy to comb out. (shoulder length). I highly recommend.

Nice shampoo but an odd smell.

Always used Nexxus shampoo since I was an older teenager/young adult. Even as a cosmetologist. Some of my education would technically challenge the awww of this product. But in reality. Surfactant/wax ratio is much better in this product compared to more than most "salon products" being sold at a grocery store or department store, claiming to be salon products. But this is a very lightweight shampoo. Cleans, moisturizes, and keeps my hair feeling strong. For 1/2 the price of Redken and other salon products that are also very wonderful products. Nexxus sells several different brews for several different hair types. This particular, is my favorite and preferred. After years of experimenting with different salon products you wouldn't find at a retail store, and the more high end shampoos that you would find at a retail store. This has always been my go ti I'm a huge anti, Biolage shampoo, haircare products of any kind. Though this is expensive to the average person looking for a hair wash. I strongly recommend it. This particular brew is great for helping moisturizing hair and help to restore dry hair. But when used with its partner conditioner. Use it, leave it in a minute or so. I leave in while I shave my armpits or something that takes a minute or two. Rinse... Then after I always use their leave in conditioner spray, (20 in 1, Perfector/Humectress). I put on after I wash everytime. Especially before I blow dry. Pillow proof and scrooples are great as well. Pillow proof is a more expensive Redken product though. But it protects your hair from the heat of such and hot tools. Like blow drying, straighteners, curl wands, and cremper type tools. The shampoo and conditioner have a great fusion of things to help your hair. The Elastin Protein is very beneficial. The Green Cavier is weird to some. But I recommend researching it. :) Thank you Nexxus, for helping my hair to become weightless and not full of wax fillers, and actual surfactant to clean my hair. I will definitely buy until I lose my hair as an old lady I'm sure lol. Even if I could regularly afford Redken products, I would still choose Nexxus I'm sure. I find I have less hair loss during showering with this product than most others I have used as well. It's a great choice, and affordable. <3

Best shampoo. The hair stays soft and looks healthy after use it without electrostatic even in dry winter months. Light smell of coconut.

This stuff is amazing on my naturally curly hair and haven't bought it due to the price! Can't beat this price and it smells amazing!

Für mich wirklich das beste Shampoo weit und breit. Ich kenne es seit 1992 und habe zwischenzeitlich auch Andere ausprobiert, auch echt teure vom Friseur. Doch dieses gute Gefühl beim Haarewaschen und danach ist unvergleichbar. Allerdings nur wenn man es einwirken lässt, drei Minuten. Sonst nicht.! Die Haare glänzen und fühlen sich wunderbar weich an. Und der Duft nach Kokos ist für mich sehr angenehm.
