This product is used to maintain proper frying temperature for person's with limited experience. It is perfect for that and it does the job well.

Purchased these for a party where we had a hot wing bar. We used the thermometer to keep track of the oil temperature as to not burn the wings during deep frying. It worked great!

Written above. If you need to use a frying 🍳 pan,or making 1-2pork chops you need a meat thermometer.I need both.this is still a good buy.Cooking for one is a bit that is there's not much else to say.this is for oven roasting,or thicker cuts..

I am renting a house for 6 weeks and the first time I used the oven I thought it might not be getting as hot as it was supposed to. This was an inexpensive way for me to make sure the things I was cooking were at the right temperature. It seems to be accurate and very easy to use--just hand it in the oven on the rack and it will tell the oven's temperature as it heats up!

My other one was hard to read when inserted into the meat I would have to pull it almost completely out of the oven to read. This was has larger numbers and easier to read

Bought unit because oven temp wasn't hitting set temperatures. Finally got appliance repair guy to check oven. He had advance equipt to measure temp and during test he advised us that Termometer wasn't accuracely reflecting. So not worth the price.

This model is easier to read than most of the oven thermometers. I have to hang it on the oven rack as it will not stay on the rack because the bottom is too narrow.

I've used the 2 or three times and found it untrustworthy. It is very slow to react, almost as if there is something mechanically stuck. 5 minutes in a 500F oven and it didn't register at all and then after 10 minutes it did. However, having taken it out and placed it on the counter over night, it is reading 150F as the temperature on the counter. End result is I'm tossing as I just don't trust it.

Like: small, easy to hang inside oven. Easy to read.Dislike: only F scale. Not dual F/C scale. Shows temp a little higher than measured by 2 other thermometers at the high end (400F vs 390F)

The thermometer stoped working after about 4 months, very poor
