Most of the things in here I already knew but it was still a good read to get some tips and suggestions for podcasts, books, and networking, etc. Now I know to always send my resume as a pdf. An approachable and easy to read book, she doesn’t mince words and gives it to Millenials straight. It’s sad that this book has to be done since so many of my generation are ill-equipped in this regard, but Arika does a fantastic job and she’s relatable, being an Xennial herself. Highly recommend!

Even though I’m sure I have many of the skills to make it in the real world as a millennial, I would be kidding myself if I said this book didn’t teach me something. I now have a list of 10+ books, podcasts, and videos to check out, and this book actually made me excited for what is to come. Ms. Pierce clearly knew how to appeal to my gen with countless Drake references, tons of relatable stories, and by the end I was looking up to her as a role model!! Lastly, literally read it all in ONE sitting on my phone (talk about perfect for my generation)...READ IT MILLENNIALS, I DID and don’t regret it!!!

This book is very helpful, and covers some of the most important aspects of being an adult that aren’t typically taught in high school or college. I’ve just accepted a new job in a different career field, and this book has helped remind me of the importance of building a brand and reputation. I will definitely continue to reference the ideas in this book. The author also provides several suggestions on useful Apps that I have already downloaded and started to use!

I'm far from being a millennial but found this book to be a very interesting read and also full of good tips (for all ages). Well written, funny, engaging and a pretty quick read. Superb advice re: networking, interview preparation and reputational management - applicable to all professionals, regardless of age! I look forward to gifting this book to the millennials in my life, especially with college graduation season being just around the corner!

I read this book one sitting, very easy reading and I wish I could buy one for a lot of young people, I brought, three books for my kids one them read it and loved so I just ordered two more, . have a lot of good advice for young people, very well done that I know they would love the book

I read this as a reading challenge under the topic a book that scares you. I thought it is a scary time when the middle generation has to step in for the education front of the new workforce. I found I naturally follow many suggestions in this book and love that the author is straight forward and down to earth. She admits faults and encourages growth. I'm somewhere in the millennial generation but just barely and due to starring work with hard won ethics and at a younger age I didn't face the skepticism many might. With that said I pulled a few notes to the side for later.

Fun and helpful read! She provides her readers with a lot of intuitive career advice. Thank you for the great advice!

This is a great guide to successfully launching into an adult career. It is well-written, researched, and easy to read. I read it in less than two hours. Just perfect for the Millennial on the go!
