TheDadLab: 50 Awesome Science Projects for Parents and Kids

I got this book for my five year old to do fun things with his dad but now we are all doing the experiments. It is so satisfying to watch your kid learning about things in such a fun way. Most kids are inquisitive by nature and this helps to satisfy that in them while you are all having a good time. Some of the experiments do get messy, but that just adds to fun in my kid's eyes. Highly recommend this for a Father's day gift or just for an activity idea book for the long summer days!

My girls absolutely love this book and always ask to try out a new experiment. TheDadLab book makes experiments & activities easy! Most items needed are found already in your home so no need shopping for anything fancy. Experiments include easy to follow instructions, what you will need, time you will need, what you will learn, illustrations, bonus/extended experiment to try, discussion question, and the science behind it all. My daughters are 3 & 8 and love working together on TheDadLab experiments. They can be easily adjusted to any age and really bring the family together for a fun time.

The book was in excellent shape, better than described. It was packed well for shipment and arrived promptly.

Gave this to my son for his birthday - then I went to the dollar store to buy most of the supplies he would need - during this time of staying in more than want / this book provided super simple experiments to do with his kids

I ordered this book for my grandson after seeing the author on Strathan and Sara. Of course the book quickly left our house so his parents could enjoy the experiments with him as well as mess up their house. He will be entering 4th this year. I’m sure he will be sharing it with his teacher and classmates.

Amazing! I have bought tons of science books and this is my far and away the best one! The experiments have simple steps, they are well explained. At the end of each experiment there is a kid friendly explanation of why the experiment works!

So much fun with my boys makes them never want to stop learning

Great book with lots of fun activities to do with the kids. My kids are 5 and 6 (almost 7) and they love the activities we've done so far and ask everyday to do something from this book. The materials for the activities are pretty easy to gather as well, nothing too difficult.

This second edition is not very nice, yes it has a handful of more ideas than the previous edition (vast majority of the content is the same), but the visual has been completely taken out, there are no photos anymore, which makes it so much more dry and hard to go through. This type of activities book should naturally be very visual. It’s as if you have a recipe cook book without photos…

Non posso garantire sulla meraviglia che può spuntare da questi esperimenti, ma posso garantire che sono divertenti da farsi, a seconda naturalmente dell'età dei bambini: ce ne sono per chi fa ancora l'asilo e per chi ha finito le elementari. Ci sono alcune ripetizioni nella parte scientifica dietro agli esperimenti, e la cosa è comprensibile. Ho però trovato molto utili le spiegazioni reali degli effetti (un paio non le conoscevo mica!), che poi ogni genitore dovrà adattare alle conoscenze dei propri figli; anche gli esperimenti correlati sono utili per suscitare curiosità. In definitiva, un ottimo libro "pratico".
