Godzilla: King of the Monsters (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital) (4K Ultra HD): The story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Excellent Movie
This movie has been GREAT. I love Godzilla

Almost Epic
My complaints and concerns are mainly directed at producers:Stop hiding the monster fights in smoke, darkness, clouds, foggy-haze or behind military Ospreys! This was the primary complaint in the last Godzilla movie, you’d think the producers would have learned that lesson by now! This is why this movie did not make a lot of money at the American box offices because Fans are still a little raw about that…try that again in King Kong and see what happens to your bottom-line!I see they fixed Godzilla’s feet once again! At least they got that part right! Mothra died a little too soon guys…really?I’m (old school) grew up with Godzilla all throughout the 80s. So why in the hell is there a (Giant Woolly Mammoth) in this movie??? Because there are (NO) "Woolly Mammoth" in the Godzilla family of monsters when I was growing up! Stop screwing up these movies guys! If the producers were smart they would have included (3) of the (Giant Praying Mantis) from “Son of Godzilla” remember those guys? Now that would have been EPIC instead of a freaking (Woolly Mammoth) that had nothing to do with anything! There was too much unnecessary human dialogue...focus on the monsters! I got really tired of the (little know it all, teenage girl drama)! This is NOT (Days of our lives)! Miss me with that next time guys and stay focused on the monsters back stories! To all writers and producers DON’T even screw up Godzilla VS King Kong! Take notes from all the critical reviews and make the necessary corrections!Otherwise, you guys KILLED IT! Congratulations on an amazing movie...but fix all of the problems, listen to the fans! The Facts:1. Running Time Approx. 2 hrs. 15 min.2. Sound: DTS-5.1 and ATMOS3. Picture: Widescreen4. Filled with action, suspense and drama, almost Epic.5. Explains back story very well.6. Producers tried to HIDE monster fights yet again!7. Not enough focus on Monsters.8. Too much unnecessary human dialogue.9. Movie was intense and good, but dropped the ball in some areas.10. Recommend purchase on Blu-ray, a must have classic.Thank you, hope this helps!

Almost a great movie...
An overall wonderfully Hollywood rendered & expensive FX tour de force of a movie that I could almost pretend was a Japanese-ish Godzilla film by the decent amount of emotions displayed from the only true stars of the movie, Godzilla & Monsters, thus resulting in the sole reason for any of the star rating for this film...An almost perfect epic movie...Almost.& then the downside to the film...The loathingly yet characteristically American sci-fi techie mumbo-jumbo re-imagining of the film franchise & then the military as well being almost too over-the-top "Hollywood" bunk. All the while amidst of all of that, the overall destruction of a playing field (thus cities & so on & so forth) being identical as to that of the utter lack of importance of setting & scenery parallelling each & everything from the Disney/Marvel Avengers cash-cow franchise. But wait, there is more...So, then at the core of the anti-star rating fiasco disappointments, there is the obvious mandatory itinerary of the instantly forgettable plot & dialogue & of the usual Hollywood American drama that insures the absolute & immediate universal disinterest of most every "human" speaking character only because of the lack of monster in contrast to the gurgling over-saturation of human to monster ratio - as usual...Which, after it all is said & done, merely concludes as becoming just one more miserable, pathetic & inexcusable use of quality actors in this, the next-in-line of "let's make some easy money" remakes - or is it reimaginings...& with this being but a kinda' sorta' buffed up sequel, the prequel was just as expectedly horrendous, (thus a simple rinse & repeat lack of effort exercise in writing excuse) as with this attempt as it as well gloriously exemplies the already "another irrelevant human interaction filler" drama with awesome, cool monsters & FX highlights...I was hoping for something of an even slightly thought out amount of substance from the humans as they were (& usually are in general) the usual downside to this latest "we can do better" franchise.
