Free lollipop!! ...... oh and the wax is Great.
As a new candle busis owner and learning the INS and outs it's great to have great wax to work with. By far this is the smoothest wax I have ever worked with so far (And I have been testing a lot). Fast shipping, Attention to detail (Adding personal thank you cards) and a free lollipop With my order ( I use a distract my daughter for a little bit lol ) Is some of the reasons why I'm definitely going to be Remind. And possibly making permanent vendor for 464 Soy wax.

Does not turn yellow/brownish when lit.
I've tried a couple other soy waxes. Those waxes turn a nasty yellow/brownish color when the candle is lit and the wax begins to melt. This 464 wax does Not do that. It stays white/clear. It's bit more spendy, but well worth it.

I would recommend using 464 using no color for the smoothest looking ...
This wax gave me some issues compared to 444, but it is quite possibly a user error of my own. It feels much different than 444 to me. It has a little staying power on your fingers if you reach into the bag. This must be because of the blend, but it can help throw fragrance faster. My customers haven't noticed a difference with their burning experiences, so I will bounce back and forth between 444 and 464 until I finally decide on one FOR SURE. Packaging was professional. No rips or tears. No busts. The wax is in pieces in the bag which helps measuring and the bag is resealable.464 can give you creamier tops on your candles only if you preheat the vessel to a "hot-to-the-touch" temperature before pouring. I use a heatgun (which are cheap) to aim at the jars or tins I am pouring in so it allows the wax to adhere to the vessel instead of instantly cooling and hardening on contact.Preheating the vessel will reduce sinkholes and ruining your hard work. The heatgun can also remedy sinkholes, but be careful not to heat it up too long, as this will burn out the fragrance oil on the top and potentially burn your wax. Heat it patiently and rotate the melted top layer to fill in the sinkhole in this fashion. Also, keep in mind that if you are using liquid color drops, you will get frosted tops. If you are using colored wax chips, you may be okay. In my experience, I would recommend using 464 using no color for the smoothest looking tops. I use color with 444 and I have reduced frosted tops.Hope this helps! Thanks for reading and give 464 a shot! It is always good to learn about and experience different waxes for product development purposes.

464 golden wax
I use the gilded 464 soy wax for candle making. Amazon has saved me several times bc most suppliers are steady out of soy wax. So I hop on here on order it and get it within days!! This wax is good. As you can see in the pics, smooth tops and great hot & cold throw

Great product, terrible packaging
Just received my shipment of 20 lbs of this wax today and I was quite disappointed. Not in the wax itself, but by the terrible packaging. I normally order the 10 lb bags and they come in big zip lock bags. This however came in what looked like a big blue trash bag, which had a huge hole in it, and there was nothing there to hold the bag shut. So when I opened the box and when to pull out the bag, there goes at least half of my wax all over the floor and table. Needless to say, I had to sweep it all up and trash it. Not a happy camper.

The item is not what the company says it is.
I own a small candle company and have been buying this exact wax for many years. When I opened the box, the wax looks nothing close to 464, it looked terrible and cheap. It was much heavier and more dense than 464. I contacted them, but they weren’t very helpful and easily dismissed me. I have bought from Va Candle supply many times. Never again. Transparency in candle making is important to me and safety in what I am selling, they broke my trust, slapped together a low grade wax, shipped it, took my money and now they don’t care. Shameful.

GB464 is a great natural soy wax
I've been making and selling candles for years and GB464 is a great natural soy wax. It's the only wax I will use!Makes a great scent-throw and the natural color is pretty. I don't put candle dye in mine, because natural soy wax WILL eventually frost over time, but it's less noticeable when no dye is added. This is also the best price I've found for 20lbs.
