Not For Tourists Guide to Boston 2015 Paperback – November 25, 2014

Living in Boston, I would probably recommend this to a friend if he/she came into town and we weren't there to show them around. But the neighborhoods are divided up strangely - the neighborhood lines often overlapped and weren't organized in the book geographically. We gave this as a gift to a family member and had to explain how to interpret the guide...which itself should be interpreting the city. And the book is on the wrong side of small, to the point where I wouldn't want to try and read it when walking around. But the info is well up to date and covers a huge amount of ground.

This WOULD have been a great book, had it not been for the small size and matching tiny font. I get that the publishers wanted to make this book pocket size for on--the-go travel, but I'm not in the habit of carrying around a magnifying glass with me to read a book. Sadly, I had to return this book. Kind of a drag, as the information in it looked pretty useful. The website has the same information, but I'm not pulling out my phone while I walk or drive around (though my wife would have no problem with that).

Great and clear guide to the city! The sections of the city made sense, and the city maps and descriptions of what to see, and the highlights of where to go were inspiring!
