Excellent fletching and insert glue, when used wisely
This is an excellent product. The bottle is very easy to use, and if the surfaces are properly cleaned beforehand, it produces a very solid bond. I pre-clean the arrow shaft and the feather rib with denatured alcohol prior to gluing, and have never had a fletching come loose. This glue also works well for me with point inserts. I've hit metal plate with my arrows, and never had an insert which had been glued with this glue come loose. For most users there is no need to buy a specialized insert glue. This glue works for both fletchings and inserts equally well.I called the company who makes this, and was fortunate to speak with one of the owners. Here are some tips from them and me:-- this glue has a shelf life. Some resellers may be selling old lots, which may not perform as well. This could be part of the reason why some have poor results.-- use a glue bottle stand to hold the bottle upside down, thereby keeping glue in the tip. This will prevent it from solidifying when fletching multiple arrows.-- pre-clean fletching ribs, shaft surfaces, and inside the shaft (when gluing inserts) with denatured alcohol (which can be inexpensively purchased from any hardware store) prior to gluing. This will ensure a strong, long lasting bond.-- when finished, turn the bottle right side up, and gently squeeze the bottle on the "narrow" edges to "burp" air out the tip, which will allow the glue to flow back into the bottle. Then wipe the tip with acetone prior to replacing the cap. The cap will then never stick to the nozzle, and the nozzle will not become plugged with glue.-- when not in use keep the bottle stored in an upright position. This will also help prevent the cap from sticking to the nozzle.-- don't but this in a large size bottle if you only use it occasionally. Again, this product has a shelf life, so it's better to replace it every year or two.

Exceptional
Used it for the first time and was impressed. The viscosity is perfect and clean up is easy. The vanes stay on very well and I use quick spins which are not easy to glue on. Very satisfied. .
