Talk to Me Organic Tea - Licorice, Mint & Lavender

So, I'm not really very well versed on things like Chakras or basic tenets of Ayurveda. The text on the box clearly aims to appeal to individuals who subscribe to those belief systems, and I can't answer so much to it's efficacy on those levels. What I can say is this tastes pretty stinking awesome, awesome enough I'm willing to pay the higher price and shipping fees I've paid for it each time I've ordered it here, because I can't find it at local stores in my area.I can also admit that my body definitely feels happier after drinking it when I'm having allergy troubles, and from what limited amounts of studies there are available on some of the ingredients in this tea it would make sense, because both ginger and turmeric have been shown to have some anti-inflammatory properties. So I like drinking both this and Rooibos both when I'm getting clobbered by the local pollens. Not together, I'm not so sure how good that would taste, so I want to be clear I don't mix those two. Because I am a woman who definitely enjoys her favorites, but can get bored pretty easily with the same thing, I like to rotate them out. And I do love having some of this on hand. My husband also enjoys the taste of this stuff, so in our house, it's a hit.

I wanted to leave a review for this product so that, hopefully, they will continue to sell it. I used to purchase only Yogi Ginger Tea, but their teas have either changed formula or have gotten inconsistent, and now almost everything they produce in this line tastes like licorice. I have been looking for a substitute, and this tea is actually quite good. The blend is perfect, and I can taste Ginger instead of licorice! (Thankfully, their tea omits this ingredient.)I would definitely recommend this tea. The only drawback is its expense. It is a bit pricey. Perhaps they will consider lowering the price a bit if it becomes popular here.

This variety of teas is unique and absolutely worth the price. Some of the flavors made me raise an eyebrow but I am very glad I tried them. I will purchase again.

My wife ordered this and had me try it. I'm not a tea man by any means, however this chai is actually very good. Tastes great and makes my wife happy.

Enough said. Really enjoyed the flavors of this tea and the way it was packaged was done beautifully.

In listing the ingredients, there were trace amounts of other spices and herbs such as cloves, tumeric root, lemon juice, lavender flowers, lemon grass, spearmint, coriander, blackberry leaf, nettle, rose petals, hops, orange peel, basil, fenugreek, yarrow flower, lemon verbena, raspberry leaves , etc. The one that I was really surprised about was the black pepper. Only one had more than a trace and you could definitely tell it was there.These were all very interesting. I always use a spoonful of our wonderful local honey in my tea, but with these, I took several sips first so that I could experience the full flavor. The only one that I didn't really care for was In The Mood only because it had 5% black pepper and pepper really bothers my throat. But all the others were good. This is a nice wide variety of flavors to be enjoyed morning, noon or night.I received this Magic Box in exchange for an honest review and honest is what I have been.
