Solved my "Reduced Engine Power" P1518 issue. Had 230,000 on the original so it was time. But I had to do the relearn process...1) Disconnect Battery for 20+ min and fully charge the battery.2) Reconnect the battery.3) Start up with the AC off and let the ECM work on the rough idle for 15 min...4) Then with the vehile tires safety blocked as so it can't move. While in the drivers seat, put it in drive for 15min WITH the AC at the lowest temp and windows down. Without moving, nor pressing accelerator, nor brake (but be in the driver's seat just in case).5) Put in park and my idle was pretty good. Then a test drive.Without the relearn, the error came back with new part. The ECM still thought the old one was there and it had all the old compensations it had built up. Running smooth after.

This throttle body unit fit perfect and looks to be of high quality. It did not fix my problem which I later found to be the wiring harness, not the throttle body.

I bought this to replace the throttle body in my 04 Escalade because the throttle position sensor went out on the factory part and was causing my SUV to shift very late and hard from 1st gear to 2nd gear. I first bought a Spectra branded part and it functioned worse than the faulty factory part. I bought this part and it seems to be going strong roughly a year later. I would trust Cardone parts again if I need another part in the future.

absolutely HORRIBLE quality. ordered two of these reman. first one arrived on time. as i picked up the box it sounded like marbles clicking together inside. called manufacturer and barely moved throttle body next to the phone and the guy on the phone heard it loud as heck. i returned it and reordered hoping it was a one off quality control issue. second one arrived, even louder clank than the first one. called and spoke with their technician. let him hear the noise and he was unsure of the noise and requested i send a video which i did.he kept saying he didn’t get the video, i sent the video five times and once to his personal at work email but he said he never got it. he said he would speak with another tech about it and call me back. NEVER called me back. so almost 2 weeks went by from the first one to the second one with no luck. the quality was earful and a complete WASTE of my time. i did get full refund but the aggravation was ridiculous. looking now for a higher end throttle body.

Liked it very much ,it fixed the problem I have been having a long time with surging an hesitation on my 5.3 Chevy engine,should have replaced it long ago an saved money on all the chemical quick fixes that did not work.

So far so good, it's been about a month and no issues. Liked the good low price and so far looks like a goodproduct.

This was a great fit for my child's doodlebug, I put in on installed a new fuel line and a couple of hose clamps for it and I was ready to go. Great price, checked with local auto parts store and the rebuild kit was going to be 75% the cost of the whole throttle body. So this turned out to be a great deal.Thanks
