Mini Pro Hair Dryer, Travel Hair Dryer with Folding Handle, Red

I got this because my extremely old hair dryer used too much power and was tripping my breaker when my vanity light was on.Now no issues. I have simple needs but it works for daily use and I like that it's small and folds if I want to travel with it.

I bought this for the small size and the dual voltage for use on a trip to Ireland. The size is nice and small for travel, and the dryer works well on high here in the U.S.; not as powerful as my regular dryer but quite enough power for its size. I'll update after my trip overseas. So far, very pleased. The red color is very nice.Update: Be sure to use it on the low setting when overseas and using a higher voltage. The low setting provides equal power to the high setting when you are overseas on 220 or 240 volts. If you accidentally use the high setting overseas, the dryer will over- heat and shut down immediately, leaving an acrid smell in the air. Luckily, when I accidentally used it on the high setting, although the dryer cut off almost immediately, after it cooled down, it worked perfectly on the low setting. In other words, the higher voltage did no permanent harm to the dryer. So f you are overseas, turn the dryer to 220 volts ( on a little button that you can change back and forth between voltages by using a coin in the button 's slot) and remember to only use the dryer on the low setting.

Great product, but I am a bit dissatisfied with the power settings. I bought this dryer to replace my old one (15+years old). In comparison, this dryer's low setting isn't strong enough, but the high setting seems a bit too strong. It does dry hair quickly, however. I can dry and style my shoulder length hair in about 5 minutes. Overall, this dryer is a lot lighter and smaller than my old one, which is definitely a plus! My arm doesn't get tired by the time I am done fixing my hair. I love the red metallic color too! Great for traveling. Recommended.

I purchased this dryer 8 years ago for travel only. I used it occasionally and it has performed well. Strong air flow, very light and compact. Sadly, this year I went to pack it for a trip and noticed that the red painted finish had deteriorated and had become tacky and sticky. The dryer still works perfectly but the sticky finish is a deal-breaker tor me. Too bad things aren’t built to last. Next time I will look for a dryer with the hard plastic finish instead of the fancy painted finish.

I bought this primarily to take on a cruise ship, because I’ve found the hair dryers in the cabin drawers are generally lousy. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked - the power is decent and the ceramic ionic technology prevented it from scalding the ends of my hair. And of course because it’s so small, it was very easy to pack. No doubt I’ll take it with me on other vacations going forward! I haven’t used it enough times yet to know whether it’s durable.

Small and very effective, have one now and bought another for when the original one stops working. Light weight and easy to store.

Love this small but powerful dryer! Has 1200 watts, so it's powerful, but the low setting doesn't blow you away like most dryers do. Nice and gentle, but if you want and like more power, the high setting gives it to you. Also love its weight. I can easily hold it above my head to dry the back of my hair without it hurting my arm, like other dryers do. The handle folds up for easy storage or packing. Best dryer I've ever had!!

Bought this little bad boy for traveling, looking for low watt & dual voltage (110 - 210v),this fit the bill. It was 4 stars till facing the most annoying fact, how the plug made (prong not equal)it doesn't fit to common household adapter, it only fit into 2in1 kind of adapter, which is bulky.If you haven't own one, quite expensive to buy one.so the price tag on this 2b able 2work in another continent from +/- 15 usd becoming 25 - 30 usdthose reasons why only 3 stars.If you travel within usa, this is definitely 5 stars however if you travel many continents well it's just okAnother thing, it is consider as high watts, 1200 if you travel abroad (outside usa)good thing is, this conair minipro working well in asia, just make sure change the dual voltage settingfrom 125 to 250 v, we used slim coin to do so, easily. However make sure just using low heat,as it gets very hot so fast. The handle can be folding as well, boy the colour, rich red, love it.With/without obstacle this is a good or adequate hair dyer for traveling (locally/abroad)am pleased, Buy it, highly recommended
