Very happy with my active and healthy isopods!
Very happy with these little guys. I ordered two orders of 10 powder orange isopods and they arrived healthy and active. They happily scurried into the sphagnum moss layer when I introduced them into my leachie enclosures. I saw a good mix of adults and youngsters- so happy to have them growing and populating in there. The only very slight complaint I had was a slight wobble in communication about shipping. I got a notification that these had been shipped July 20, when they didn’t actually ship until a week later due to weather (which is absolutely fine) but I didn’t find out about them not being shipped until I asked into why the tracking hadn’t been updated in days (I was worried the little guys were sitting in a warehouse somewhere roasting). But other than that- very pleased.

Alive and well!
My powder orange isopods came in the mail today, and they are very active and healthy looking! I separated them from the moss they were shipped in and did not find any dead ones. Looking forward to having these cuties keep my Archispirostreptus gigas tank clean!Update: It has been 4 months since I ordered these, and they are thriving! They readily reproduce and I absolutely love having them!

Deceased
Shipping live animals is a bad idea to begin with, but shockingly every one of these guys were dead when I got them. Don't even bother.

Decent but a little pricey for the results I encountered
The packaging was a bit sad to me, I’ve seen live animals get shipped and have them shipped to me all the time. These isopods were wrapped in a brown paper and seemed like they were just thrown in the box. Just didn’t seem right and seemed careless honestly, for the high amount of price for a low quantity of these animals I would expect better. Even though the box said keep at 70, our stupid mailman put it in the mailbox, mind you we live in Florida and even in fall going into winter time right now our temperatures are around 90 during the day when this was being dropped off so half of them arrived dead. That’s not at all this companies fault or anything just something to add. Overall some of them are alive and healthy so that’s why this star rating is a 4 :)

VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER
Things to know:-I live in the north east and it is winter. Today’s high was 27°. They did add a heat pack to the package but it was not active. The package was sent by USPS, who unfortunately left it in my mailbox even though the box was labeled not to. This is absolutely no fault to the company and I was lucky enough to grab them before any loss.-The ad says that you will get 10 powder orange isopods; there was way more than 10, probably closer to 20, though they were too fast account.-They were bright orange! The ad photos don’t do them justice and unfortunately they were too fast for my camera to shoot a good shot but you can definitely see how bright they are.Overall I am beyond happy and they were totally worth every penny.

Good and bad results.
Only a few were alive when I got package. It was delivered but driver didn't let me know so the poor guys sat out in the heat for a couple of hours. Not sellers fault. There was some food source in the container that came with small white worms crawling on it. I think these are fruit fly larva. Had to pick out the few live rollies and now have the shipped container in quarantine to make sure no rolly eggs were laid. Also the soil in the shipping container was over packed so they couldn't dig in to stay cooler. Soil was still damp and container was secure in the box. There were 2 holes in the box, but think they were supposed to be there for temperature regulation.

Works great for all my bioactive enclosures
I have started to breed four different types of isopods. I have four snakes and a scorpion, all of which, I have been working on making bioactive.I was Wanting to speed the process along with the orange isopods though I did not want to wait for another reptile show to pick more up. So I decided to try ordering online for the first time. I was a bit nervous because ordering some live off amazon sounds strange. But they delivered a heathy group of isopods. I’ve had them for about a week now and they are all still living it up. I’m very happy with them and if I ever need more, plan on ordering them here again.

Shipping was kinda terrible.
The Isopods are healthy and arrived what I'd assume all alive. The reason I'm not giving 5 starts is they're a bit more pricey than other sellers I've since found, but that's okay. The main issue I had is that they said they shipped and that they were lost in the mail for two weeks and after contacting the seller (which replied very quickly) found out they were not even shipped, so I'm not sure where the mix up with that happened but it was unpleasant enough to drop my rating of the product/seller
