Sun protection, cool, soft, comfortable
Needed UV protective, easy dry shirt for hiking in Utah. I've worn it, but not for hiking yet. I'm 5'11", 230 lbs and XXL fits great. Yes, the hood is large and needed to keep sun off your face. Wear a baseball cap if needed. Fabric is soft and thin. I sweat easily so this quick dry material is great. It definitely feels cool to wear.

Perfect for paddle boarding!
Purchased this rash guard to have better coverage while paddle boarding. It did not disappoint! The sleeves are long and even have thumb holes to keep about half of your hand covered. The hood is a nice addition to keep the sun off your neck. The color is good looking and is as shown. The material is light enough to be comfortable but thick enough to protect from the sun.

Thumb holes are by the little finger, not the thumb
These are great shirts for the price, although I believe they are seconds as the thumb holes are at the little finger location and not the thumb appears the sleeves were sewn on in the wrong position. If that doesn't bother you the rest is all good, low price, no peeling graphics, fits well, and the same material as the other higher priced shirtsI really don't care about the thumb holes

Works well
Bought these specifically for Texas summer lawmowing. They are light, cool and mosquitos can't bite through them from what I can tell. Used for the entire summer. Will buy again.

Loved mine so much I sent one to my bestie!
This summer the weather was so crazy! I needed something very flexible, durable, and safe for many hours in the sun. This shirt is wonderful! The hood is comfy and the torso and sleeve length allowed me proper overage. This top is great for layering over a base layer or tank. I also wear it under a vest as I work in the garden. I liked mine so much that I sent one to my best friend.

I finally found my shirt!
It's so hard to find sun protection wear that is comfortable AND also not camo, so thank you BALEAF! I've finally found my shirt! At this price point, I'm thrilled! More colors please, greens, purples...I'm 6'0" 160lbs and the XL is the fit that I like. I originally tried L but the sleeves were just too tight when using the thumb-holes. With the XL, the sleeve length is perfect when not using the thumb-holes, but still just a tad tight length-wise when using the thumb-holes. I may try an XXL to get more sleeve length, but I like the way the XL hangs otherwise.I have tried so many brands on Amazon and even boutique brands at much higher prices, and this is the most comfortable hoodie-shirt I've bought so far. I've already ordered another color and expect to order more. I got the light gray one first thinking it would absorb less heat than darker colors in full sun, and it does a really good job with that. In direct sun 95f, the heat largely reflected away. It's fairly thin and I doubt it would handle snags on thorns very well but I haven't tested it in that regard. The hood will blow off but if you're wearing a cap even under the hood it'll hold in place pretty well. For full face coverage I still need a gaiter but have some of those I like.

Perfect for my boyfriend with a sun allergy
My boyfriend has a sun allergy and can get these very uncomfortable rashes from being in the sun for longer than 15 minutes unprotected. He hates the feeling of sunscreen, so he is always looking for options for SPF clothing that he can wear that will protect him from the sun. We were looking for something he could wear during a Spartan Race and this one popped up in our search. He loved it. It fit great, was a nice color, and protected him from the sun. The hood is a good size and the sleeves were long enough for his fairly long arms. For context: he is 5'11, ~185lb, and he ordered a XL (his normal size is a L). He wanted it to be a bit roomier so it would be easy to move in and to ensure the sleeves would be long enough, and it was the perfect amount of roominess for his purpose. Would definitely recommend!

Good protection... sleeves are short
Reviewing an XL white with hood and thumb holes. The shirt seems like good quality for the price (so, overall decent quality, but it's cheap - so I'm good with it). Definitely runs small. I'm 6'0" 190 lbs, athletic build, and typically wear medium or large in most shirts (or Medium-Tall if I can find it). I like my clothes to be not tight, not baggy... more like semi-fitted. With this shirt, I wear an XL. I went with XL because other reviews mentioned the sleeves being short - and this is definitely the case. Even with the XL, the sleeves could stand to be 1 - 2 inches longer for me. The thumb holes are basically unusable. The body of the XL is more baggy than most of the shirts I wear, but not excessively so. If they made the sleeves longer in all sizes, I'd probably buy a large instead of XL.I do like the lightweight material, and this shirt is noticeably cooler on hot/sunny days than my non-white shirts (white reflects heat). It's pretty thin, so your nipples may show through the shirt if it's your only layer. I usually wear a white tank top underneath, which is made of a similar material. The combo doesn't feel hot.In a perfect world, I'd love if the shirt had some stretch to it. Most of my shirts these days have stretch fabric, and I find it more comforable. But - with this shirt, the white color and sun/heat resistance was more important.
